The Secret Prisoner

Chapter 5

Angel kind of looked a little scared and said that the voices sounded like Tricky Pete and Mr. Pete. I asked why would they be talking to each other. She said that they were brothers and Mr. Pete said that he had no clue were Tricky Pete was. I accidentally stepped on a squeaky board. Tricky Pete heard me and was coming to the door. Angel and me ran as fast as we could without making any nosie. When I looked behind me he was right behind me. Angel lead me to a basement door and we went in. I don't think he saw us go in there or he was just scared of something. Then we heard a noise like some one waking up. There was no light switch that I could find and Angel said that she didn't know what that was. I asked her if she knew any light spells, but she said no. I tried to remember the one off of Harry Potter but my mind was only on what was that nosie. Then we heard pages flipping and a light turned on. There was a book with pages that stuck out and looked like waves. I went to the book first, but I acted like I wasn't scared. The truth was I was terrified, but I didn't want Angel to know that. When I saw the pages it read READ ME, so being me I did. Then the ground started to shake and I fell off of the seat. A man that looked like Mr. Pete appeared in front of us, but he had no feet except for the sword on one of his legs. He was huge a giant in my eyes and Angel looked at him like we did some thing great. I never did anything that was good except for my grades. He looked down at us and smiled. He said "Thank you for freeing me". I was still freaked out about what just happened, so I didn't answer. Angel hit my side which woke me up and I said "Your welcome". I wanted to ask what his name was, but Angela said it first. He said "My name is Friendly Pete and your names are". Angel said "My name is Angel and his name is Tom". He looked at us and smiled again. He said that he was the brother of Mr. Pete. Then I shouted out " How many brothers does this guy have". Friendly Pete looked me and laughed a little. Then said "To be correct thousands." Angel was kind of laughing at what I said which made me feel soft inside. He said that we should go back to our dorms before Mr. Pete came to wake us up. I didn't even notice that we have been staying up that long, but to think about it I was kind of tired. We said our goodbyes and I told him I'd be back. Though I didn't know if Angel was going to come. I walked Angel to her dorm and said good night. She said good night back and said she had the most fun she has ever had with anyone. I walked to my dorm and my sister was passed out on the couch. I picked her up and took her to her bed. She woke up and asked what I saw, so I told her. She was surprised when I said that mom was right that we we're wizards, but laughed when I said I was startled by Angel. I told her I was tired and said that we should go to bed before Mr. No Fun comes in.
