Maybe This Time

Chapter 2

Narrators POV

After Jisoo leaving in 2008, Chanyeol went and became a trainee under SM Entertainment and eventually debuted in a group called EXO in 2012.

Jisoo and Chanyeol tried their hardest to keep in contact with each other but with Chanyeols busy schedule and not even to mention the time difference. Jisoo did come back once and a while but never got to see Chanyeol since he was busy. They slowly grew apart after Jisoo left and soon had forgotten about each other, as both had new friends and started their new careers.

It is now 2018 and Chanyeol is still in EXO, one of the most popular kpop boy group. Jisoo is a multi-award winning actress and model in multiple countries around the world. (Jisoo is primarily Korean but she is also Japnese, and Chinese)

EXO  is to film a show in America for the next four months, traveling around state to state, as Jisoo is there to help show them around as their tour guide. The boys have no idea that she'll be their guide and Jisoo has no idea that EXO are the people she'll be guiding.

Chanyeol's POV

"Sehun, youre drooling on me" I nudge on Sehun as his head lays on my shoulder.

"Shhhhhhhh, people are trying to sleep" He says mumbling to me

I give him a disgusted look and I look up and see that Baekhyun is just laughing at us and just burst out laughing with him.

We've been to America many times before but this time we're filming a tv show "EXO in America" and we'll be in production for 4 months.

Finally a vacation that my group and I needed.

I mean technically we're still working but still traveling and we do have to perform in every state that we visit and we do have to get up early everyday to do something. Yeah, it's not a vacation, but at least we get to travel and see new things.

"They said we're getting a tour guide during the whole trip" Lay says

"I heard that too, I also heard it's a girl who's helping us" Kai says

"Do you think she'll be nice? Is she Korean? What if she can't understand anything that we say" Chen asks worried

"No, no, no, no, you're asking all the wrong questions. Is she pretty?" Baekhyun jokes

I hear all the boys just burst into laughter.

"Who ever she is guys, we will welcome her with open arms" Suho says calming everyone down

"I wonder who it is?" I ask

Jisoo's POV

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing over and over and finally i pick up my phone

"Hello?" I say with a raspy voice

"Lyra! It's 6:37, have you showered yet? We're supposed to be leaving at 7 to get you ready to meet your co-stars" my manager practically screams in my ear

(Lyra is her American name, so her name will be either Jisoo/Lyra throughout the story)

"Courtney, 5 more minutes please" I ask dozing back to sleep

"Lyra, every single time you've asked me for 5 more minutes and the 5 more minutes after that and so on, but today no, you need to get up and shower and be clean, these are very important people to impress today and i don't want to disappoint"

"Okay, okay i'll be ready by 7" I say as i hang up the phone and head to the bathroom

"I wonder who these important people are" I say out loud

I finally shower, brush my teeth and do my skin care routine and it's barely 7:06.
6 minutes late, not too bad.

I get on to the elevator of our hotel in Portland, Oregon. Oregon will be our first stop and last will be California.

"You are late! We were supposed to be on our way already" Courtney yells at me in the lobby for everyone to hear

"They can spare me 10 minutes being late" I say

"Just get in the car" She says rolling her eyes at me

I laugh at her while getting in the car.

"Courtney, will you at least tell me who i'm going to spend four months with?"

"No, it's a surprise" she says

"Will you tell me a hint?" I ask

"They are all very beautiful" she says

"Yeah that totally narrows that down to literally everyone" I say irritated

"Don't worry Lyra, you'll see very soon" she says
