"Oh my god . " Harry gasped as his eyes took in the beautiful interior of the house - no, mansion. The living room itself was the size of Harry's home. "Are you really sure this is ours?" he asked, looking at Louis with bewildered eyes.
Louis rolled his eyes at him and sighed, "No, it's mine. You're only staying here because we're 'married' , but that doesn't mean you own what I own, okay? None of that 'what's mine is yours' shit . "
"Okay, got it." Harry said, an exciting grin plastered on his face.
Though Louis just bluntly admitted that he did not want Harry to be here, Harry didn't acknowledge that. Instead, he focused on the good things, like how cool it is to be able to live in a mansion and how big the rooms must be and - oh my god , there must be a pool!
"Is there a pool ?" Harry asked, enthusiastically looking up at Louis with hopeful eyes.
Louis looked like he wanted to stick his face into a blender. However, he tediously answered , "Yes."
Okay, this house is surely, the best thing that Harry has ever gotten. Aside from Louis, that is.
Harry was squealing on the inside as he sauntered around the living room, to the kitchen, to the dining room, to the backyard, not brave enough to walk into a closed door so he wandered around the opened spaces of the first floor.
Louis watched carefully as Harry pranced around like he owned the place. At first he was confused as to why Harry seemed so overwhelmed by simply being inside of this house since he's been here before and-
Oh, right.
The first day Louis brought Harry here , he was locked outside while it was raining resulting in him passing out, thus Louis brought him inside to just lock him up again. He never really got a full view of the first floor, let alone the entire house.
But Harry being distracted by this is a good thing. Yeah, that's a good thing- Harry will be too caught up in checking out the house that he'll leave Louis alone for a good few hours- and that's enough for him to get started on his work. He desperately needs time alone and seeing Harry's not showing any signs of interest in bothering him is a good thing.
So Louis left Harry alone in the first floor and went upstairs and into his office.
He sat down on the comfortable chair , letting out a relaxed sigh. Finally, for the first time in a few days he felt at ease.
__
Harry couldn't wipe the grin off his face as he looked at everything inside of the first floor, and by that, he meant everything in the open-space rooms. He went through the photos hung inside the living room, the jars inside of the kitchen - and he may or may not have stolen a cookie but Louis didn't have to know - the bottom of the chairs inside of the dining room to check if there were any chewing gum, since he's seen it before in movies but much to his dismay, there weren't any.
Finally after a good 10 minutes , he's gotten bored. He fell back onto the comfortable sofa, staring up at the ceiling out of boredom. He stayed like that for a long time until he heard the door click, though he did not bother to get up.
He heard footsteps strutting towards him.
"Lou ? I'm bored, lets do something ." Harry whined, kicking his feet into the air , still looking upwards at the ceiling.
Suddenly, his view was being blocked by a - might he say , quite handsome - bloke.
"I'm not exactly Louis, but I'm definitely bored too, lets do something."
