There was this girl in my class and she always wore six blue bracelets.

We were both about sixteen.
She always looked so sad...
And one day, I asked her,
"why do I always wear those six blue bracelets?"
She didn't answer.
She just has me a small sad smile.
And walked away.
The sadness never left her eyes.
Then one day,
On June 7th
The school announced that the girl had killed herself.
On June 6th.
Her birthday.
And her parents wanted to see me.
And they gave me a note.
And the last part mentioned a boy.
That made her smile.
It said thank you.
Because he was the only one
Who cared enough
To ask about her
Six blue bracelets.
And that boy was me...
