All of a sudden there was a voice from the door way. Ryan quickly took his hands off of Brendon. Brendon got the message and pulled away. When Ryan turned to the door way he saw his dad standing there.

"D-dad." Ryan put his hands out.

"George." His dad replied. Ryan was shaking. His hands trembled, his palms became sweaty, and his knees got weak.

"I c-can explain." Ryan tried. He was holding his hands out. Ryans dad walked over and did something Ryan never thought he would. He punched him. He punched Ryan square in the nose.

Ryan fell back holding his nose. He felt blood on his hands. Brendon stood there in shock. He didn't move, he didn't turn to look at Ryan. He just stood there.

Then he did something else Ryan never thought he would; he started hitting Ryan all over. Beating him up essential. Ryan put his hands out in an effort to block the blows, but it did him no good.

After a few good punches to the face and to the stomach he got up kicking Ryan in the side before leaving and slamming the door closed.

"Ryan.." Brendon whispered. Ryan didn't respond. All he did was pull his knees to his chest still on the ground and started to cry. Brendon came over and placed Ryans Head in his lap.

Brendon ran his hands through Ryans hair, constantly apologizing about not stepping in.

"I should have done something." Ryan couldn't speak, he didn't want to speak. So he just shook his head.

Brendon covered Ryans ear to block out the offensive slurs that could be heard from downstairs.

"Ryan," Ryan squeezed his eyes closed hoping and praying it would all go away. "It's ok, we're the best boys, not him." Ryan smiled and looked up at Brendon. "Please believe me."

Ryan opened his mouth to say: 'I do' but he still couldn't talk. So all he did was nod his head. And he repeated to himself in his head over and over...

'We're the best boys, we're the best boys, we're the best boys'

Today was pretty fun
Idk I can't really think of anything funny that happened today
Ummm let me think oh today in PE sofias ex had his back turned to the goalie and he was in the first game of the thingy we're doing in PE rn and anyways he threw it to him even tho his back was to him and idk it was off to a great start
Also I fell over the compost container in the science room right in front of my crush and he just kinda laughed and said it was graceful Oof
The other 7th grade class got assigned like a whole essay in English bc they wouldn't shut up (Sorry Haven) and our class got to play Pictionary and it was really fun lol
Also everyone kept messing up in music and going too soon and we had to restart every time and we're singing and part of it is in a different language and it's really annoying when we have to go from the very beginning
