Key To Love (Fred Weasley)

Chapter 2

I wake up and go take a shower. I pull my brown hair into a ponytail, thinking there's not much else you can do with curly hair. Then I look in the mirror. I don't wear makeup and I go more natural. I put my robes on and grab a book then head to breakfast. I walk in the great hall and see my friends at the end of the ravenclaw table. I go over to them and notice Leo is missing.

"Hi Rose. Good morning." Says Jenna.

"Hey where's Leo?" I ask.

"He's over with Lee and the knuckle head twins." States Emily.

I look over and they are all sitting together and are laughing.

"Well it might not be healthy how much time he spends with us. He needs some guy friends." I say grabbing toast.

Professor Flitwick comes over and hands us our schedules. I have transfiguration with Gryffindor first. That's my favorite class, because of the teacher, second is charms, I just like the subject, then herbology. I just find plants calming and even if those plants are a little dangerous I still like it. We head off to class and go to transfiguration.

We go into the classroom and find that we are the first ones there so we take a seat upfront. Then the rest of the class files in and Professor McGonagal and class starts. 

"Today we will be turning a mouse into a teacup." Says McGonagal and we start working.

I took out my wand made of ash, 14 1/2 inches, with a unicorn hair and start trying to turn it into a teacup. I change it so it has no legs but that's it when Fred and George enter and take a seat in the back.

"Your late Mr. Weasley" Said McGonagal

"Which one of us" Asked Fred "are you talking to?" Finished George

"Well now both of you have detention tonight for disrupting class, being late, and also for whatever prank you just pulled." She looked outside the classroom to see Filch running around covered in blue slime.

They tried to hold back a laugh and sat down in their seats. I saw Jenna staring back there every so often. 

"Why do you keep looking back there?" I asked Jenna

Her face went Weasley hair red and didn't meet my gaze. "Um, no reason." She said 

It then clicked in my mind. "You like one of them." I said getting excited. Jenna has'nt liked someone in a while.

"Which one?" I asked her. 

"I don't know who's, who but it's the one on the left." She said sheepishly. I looked back and the one on the left was George. Also Fred looked at me and had a evil smirk on his face. I wonder what that's about. 

"George" I said to Jenna. That's good he is the quieter twin. 

"How can you tell them apart?" 

"I don't know just can." I said with a shrug.

"Do you think he would like me?" 

"I don't know but probably. You are a sweet, nice girl, also your smart and pretty. He would have to be stupid to not like you." I said comforting her. 

We leave class and Roger comes over and tells us we have practice tonight. 

"The first game is against Gryffindor and they are the toughest besides slytherin and they are a tie together now that they have Harry. The second game is against Hufflepuff, then Slytherin." Roger says.

Ugh it's the first day and we already have homework and practice also. When will I ever have time to read? Suddenly a boom makes me look into the next hall. I see Fred and George running from Filch. It's the first day, how can they already have pulled two pranks that I know of?

"You'll never catch us." Yells George.

"You and your ugly cat never will." Fred says.

Just then they run into a suit of armor and fall down. "Detention tonight. I might convince Dumbledore to use the whips this time." Filch says.

"Sorry already booked" says Fred.

"With McGonagal. So take it up with her, with who we have detention with." Says George.

"Then tomarrow?" Filch says smiling probably thinking of all the thing to do to them.

"Right now our schedule is free. Make it a date then. 7:00 again?" Asked Fred.

Filch just scurrys off rambling about the twins, obviously angry. 

"You should just have the teachers coordinate what days you two have detention." I state.

"Well isn't it the best duo in Hogwarts." Fred states .

"No the best beater duo in Hogwarts. I never said best duo just best beaters." I state cooly.

"We'll see about that in our first game." George says. I can see him staring at Jenna every so often. I can tell they would make a good couple. I need to make a plan.

"Bet on it." I say then walk away.

"Rose I don't want to doubt you but do you really think we can beat them?" Jenna asks.

"If you believe enough and have pixie dust, then anything can happen" I say

"Ok, but what's with the pixie dust?" She asks.

"Nevermind it's a muggle movie quote." I say. My mom had me watch muggle movies because we live in a big muggle community and my old friends had me watch the movies. 

We go off to practice. I get changed into my gear and grab my Nimbus 2000. My dad left me and my mom a lot of money when he died. That's how we pay for my books and school supplies. I look at the stands and see Fred, George and Lee there. I walk over to the stands. 

"What are you doing here?" I ask .

"Checking out the competition. Seeing if you're all bark and no bite." Fred says with a wink at me.

I scoff and walk away. I can tell Jenna is nervous cause George is here. Emily is pumped to play. She loves Quiddich and it helps her with her anger issues. She puts all of her anger into throwing the quaffel into the hoop. One time she threw it so hard it hit Oliver Wood and sent him through the hoop. Trust me you don't want to be on the receiving end of that quaffel. I try to calm Jenna down and tell her not to worry. We have the same team as last year because nobody graduated.

I take off and start hitting bludgers left and right. I start to work up a sweat. Me and Jenna keep hitting one back and forth as a practice as our teamwork. 

"Hit them harder to practice your agility." Roger yells.

"You ready?"

"Always."

I hit one hard and it goes out of the pitch and I hear a cheer from the stands. I look over and the twins and Lee are holding a banner with "Go Rose, Jenna, and Emily" on it. I roll my eyes. Practice ends and we go change. I walk out and run into them again. I need to go take a shower I'm all sweaty.

"I guess your okay, for a girl." Said Fred. Oh no, Emily heard him.

"Are you saying girls can't be beaters because their not strong enough, cause their probably stronger than the both of you combined." She yells while me and Jenna hold her back from attacking them.

"No I'm saying we might have competition this year. Can't wait for the game. Bye girls." Fred says then leaves knowing its best to get away from Emily when she's angry.

Pansy Parkinson's comes over to us and says "Oh look at poor Rose, can't even get a boyfriend. After her last one nobody wants to date her." She's talking about Thomas, my ex boyfriend. He broke up with me after he found out my secret. He didn't tell anybody because Dumbledore told him not to.

"I have a boyfriend by the way." I say

"Ha who would want to date you? Your ugly, dumb, unpopular, and horrible at quidditch." She asks with a sneer.

"Hey leave her alone. She could get any guy she wants. Also where's your boyfriend you had to pay to be with you?" Emily says.

Pansy walks away with a angry stomp.

"Thanks for helping me." I say.

"That's what friends do." She says and we hug.
