It's my seventh year at Hogwarts and me and Fred are still going strong. I start heading to kings cross station. I had a good summer I spent most of it reading. Most of the summer I was in my room reading because my mom had to work most of the summer. She's not home much so I'm home alone and have to feed myself. I haven't seen my dad all summer. I wonder where he is. I told my mom about Sirius and she said she always knew he was innocent. She kept apologizing about not telling me about him. Well a murderer is better than no dad in my opinion. I get on the train and go sit with Leo, Jenna, and Emily.
"Hi guys! I missed you so much. Can you believe this is the last time we'll get on the train to go to Hogwarts?" I say.
"Oh my god don't remind me. I'm not ready for it to be our last year. I'm not ready to leave." Jenna says.
"Also we have NEWTs this year." Leo says.
"I'm going to be so stressed." I say.
"Who's going to be our new quidditch captain since Rogers gone?" Emily asks.
"You'll never guess who." Jenna says.
"Who?" Leo asks.
"Me!" Jenna yells.
"Oh my god your gunna be such a great captain." Emily says.
We get to Hogwarts and we see a fuzzy pink lady sitting at the teachers table. Dumbledores standards are really going down these days. First someone who has Voldemort on the back of his head that tries to kill Harry, then we have Lockhart who knew nothing, then Lupin who was actually good but turned ip out to be a werewolf and resigned. Then we had Mad Eye Moody which turned out to be Barty Crouch Jr. who tried to kill Harry again. Then she does the unthinkable and interrupts Dumbledore. I can tell everybody already hates her because nobody interrupts Dumbledore. Then she goes on about a lot of bullshit about making the school better. She's here from the ministry, their interfereing with Hogwarts. I'm going to call her Umbitch from now on.
I start to head off to bed when I remember it's a full moon tonight oh no i forgot. How could I forget? Then I start running outside of Hogwarts I feel the start of my transformation and start to panic. I see Fred coming towards me. He must have seen me panicking. I guess I can trust him.
"Fred come here and pick me up and carry me to the lake." I yell.
"Okay but why?" He asks while picking me up.
"I'll tell you later." I say while he's walking to the lake.
"Aren't we going to get in trouble for being out here?" He asks.
"Since when do you care about breaking rules?" I ask.
"I don't care but you do." He says.
"It's okay Dumbledore knows." I say.
"What does he know?" He asks.
"Okay I'll show you later but I have a big secret and don't freak out when you see it." I say.
He brings me to the lake.
"Now what?" He asks.
"Set me in the water." I say.
"What? Why?" He asks.
"Just do it." I say and he sets me in the water. Then I start to transform. I grow a pink and purple mermaid tail and shell bra.

I look at Fred and can tell he's in shock.
"It's okay if you don't want to be with me anymore." I say tearing up.
"Why would I care. Your a mermaid. So what?" He says.
"Your not mad I didn't tell you?" I ask.
"No, you had a reason not to." He says.
"I should tell you the story of why I'm a mermaid." I say. He sits down and i start to explain.
"It all started when I was four years old. I had just lost my dad and I was having a hard time. I was swimming in the sea and my mom was on the shore. When suddenly I started to drown when something saved me. Later I found out it was a mermaid the only way for her to save me she turned me into a mermaid. Now every full moon I transform and have to be in the water. Only you and my mom know about it now and also I told my ex boyfriend, Thomas who left me because of this. That's why I was afraid to tell you. I thought you might leave me like he did." I say.
"Wow that's a amazing story. Not the drowning part or your douche of an ex boyfriend. I would never leave you just because your a fish once a month." He said with a smirk.
