(UNEDITED)

'Natasha–Nat.. That's what everyone called her. Umm.. She was so frightened. But after a few minutes, she became quite relieved to see a car approaching from a distance. Yeah, it was coming in her direction. Her face just lit up like anything as she motioned for it to stop. It was a big, luxurious one'.

Exactly.. This story is just like mine except for the fact that the car which stopped for me was small and cheap of course! I wanted to say, 'Shut up brain. Let me hear the rest'.

She continued with tears forming in her eyes, 'There was a man in the driver's seat. He looked rich and handsome, of course.

He seemed like a kind man as he offered her a lift after hearing her story

He seemed like a kind man as he offered her a lift after hearing her story. She happily hopped into the car. Little did she know that the man was taking advantage of the situation.

Later, he started misbehaving. He kept stealing glances at her throughout the ride... In an awkward manner, you know. She got confused when he took the wrong route. He pulled into a lonely place and from there, his true colours were shown.

And you know what happened next? She was assaulted and then thrown off cliff. He tried his best to clear all the possible evidences. Actually she didn't die then. She was alive...at the bottom of the cliff, deeply injured and scared. She felt more frustrated than ever.

Out of shame and distress, she decided to die. She felt as if she lost self-respect in every way. So that is why the suicide took place. She was mentioned missing in the newspapers. Nobody found her body. She laid dead in the middle of no where', she stopped.

She was shaking hard. I could clearly see her skin trembling. 'Let's just get some sleep', she stood up.
'No. But I want to know what happened next', I stood up and went up to her. She did not reply.

'Okay. So you lied to me. You're not Natasha. The Petrakis girl is dead. Then who are you?' I interrogated her. I swear I must've looked like a fraidy kid that time.

'Let's go. I think it's better if I tell you the rest in the morning', she looked down at her feet. 'It's all too much to take in. And at the moment, you won't be getting any sleep. So..yeah!', she continued and patted me on my shoulder.

Her hands were frighteningly cold. No words would come out of my mouth. Sensing trouble, she turned to look at me. 'The lesser you know, the better—Maybe I shouldn't have told you anything. See, it's better if we stop here. You can sleep now. I-I, I think —', she stopped Midway stuttering.

With that, she left the room, leaving me all by myself.
Wait, what? Sleep here? On my own?
Not gonna happen!
What was she thinking—Leaving me alone in a dark room in God-knows-where.

My head felt dizzy all of a sudden and it started spinning out of control.
No way I'm gonna get any sleep in a place like this. That too, after listening to a disturbing story—No way!

First of all, I would like to express my humble apologies to all of you readers who've been stuck at chapter ten for so long.

Secondly, I want to thank you guys for keeping up. I know it's been a looooong long time since I've last updated. Actually, I was busy with quite a few stuffs. Also I'm moving out of my house for a while.

See, these are some of my reasons. And oh, not to mention my movie marathons, graphic editings, social media and stuff. So thank you so so sooo much. You guys are the best! That is why I decided to make this chapter extra long compared to the other ones. I sure had to make up to you.
Love,
Fidah 💕
