(A-N- bear with me here, I was listening to music while I made this)

Sans POV~

I was sitting on my bed when suddenly my door creaks open. "Sans..? Are you awake?" A small voice calls. "Now I am. What's up kid?" I answer as the small human sits next to me on my bed. "What happened in your dream? You still haven't told me or Papyrus.." My eyes go black as I remember the awful memories.

After a minute or two I tell Frisk to go get some more sleep and that it would take giving her more explanation, too. "Ok..good night, Sans." "G'night, kiddo" I mumble as she reaches the door and closes it on her way out. I sigh and fall back on my bed. Am I really gonna sleep? No. Too tired to sleep heh.

I hear my door again and look over to see Pap walking towards me. I sit up and he seems shocked. "What's up, bro? Have a nightmare?" He looks at me with a pity look. Oh boy. "BROTHER. TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED IN YOUR DREAM. I KNOW ABOUT RESETS NOW, SO TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!" I stare at Pap. He doesn't know about my past, but he does know about the RESETS now, but what do I have to lose?

~Time Skip~

I explained what happened in my dream to Pap and he had tears in his eyes. I noticed I was in a similar state. "SO..CHARA REALLY IS A DEMON.. WOWIE..SANS I HAD NO IDEA YOU WHERE GOING THROUGH THIS.." I look down "I didn't let you know." I suddenly sense Frisk try to creep into my room. "Hey, kid. What's up?" The kid jumps at my voice before walking over and wiping at my eye sockets. I'm confused before she says "don't cry, Sans.. tears don't look good on you.." I look up at my brother and see that he looks as confused as me. "Kid..did you hear..?" The kid nods. "Yes. I did. Your past.. it's really troubling. Can you tell us more?" I hesitate as I look up at Pap. He looks excited to hear more of my past, since I don't really tell him much.

"A-alright. I guess I can..explain a bit about my past.." the two sit down on the floor in front of me like little kids during story time and I begin.

"So..lets start off easy. So you know how the humans and monsters lived in harmony before the war, right?" They nod so I continue. "Well..me and Pap survived the war." Before I can tell anymore, Frisk interrupts. "Yeah, I know. You were born after the war. Right?" I look at the kid before I answer. "Wrong. I was about 5 and Pap was almost 1 when my mother and father started to talk about war with humans. My mom went out to fight. My dad fled go the underground, not even thinking about his son or our mother. I was alone at the house when suddenly a bulky human broke down the door and attempted to stab me. I ran as fast as I could until I tripped over something on the ground. I looked behind me to see a bundle of orange cloth. I picked it up and saw a tiny skeleton inside. I took him and went to look for my mom. I heard a scream and followed it. I called out to her until I heard a loud explosion and something huge hit the ground. I heard my mom call out my name so I ran to it. I found my mom under the rubble, dust flowing off her body. She told me to run before she dusted completely. Humans saw me so I grabbed her blue jacket ran toward the underground. A human grabbed me and tried to bash my skull in before I shot a bone through her torso. She dropped us and I turned so that the small skeleton wouldn't hit the ground. The impact to the ground broke a couple of my ribs, but I still brought the two of us to the underground. I woke up in a clinic. The same clinic I was diagnosed with Bronchitis as. After my ribs healed, a lady came in to tell me that an orphanage was being set up, but me and the other skeleton would be split up. So I later broke into the day care center to get Pap, as they had to put him there while I healed. I fled deep into the underground and we lived in an old shack in New Home until Pap was about 4 and I was 8. I spent my free time looking for food, reading the upper grade books Pap had checked for me, or looking for my dad. I had almost forgotten what he looked like, so it was hard. One day, I almost got dusted. Pap was at school and I had just gotten home after a food run, when suddenly, the door gets bashed down by a wolf monster, Volcan, and Washua. The Washua yells at me to get down on the floor while the other two search the place. I don't duck down, and instead take the wolf and Volcan in my magic and throw them at Washua. He dodges and shoots water at me. (A-N- I know that Washua can't do that, but I don't care either) the water wraps around my head, cutting off my air supply. After what felt like hours, I had the idea to use a bone to stop the flow of water, so I don't die. I ram the bone into the Washua and we fight for a bit, until I finnaly chase them all out, about 3 minutes before Pap got home. Then, everything changed. A huge, cloaked, figure came through the door and grabbed me by the back of my shirt. He walked over to where Pap usually got off the bus and stood there. I saw the school bus pulling in and Pap in the window. (A-N- I wrote that sentence and all that ran through my head was when in Big Hero 6, Bamax says "we jumped out a window") Pap got off the bus and saw my predicament. He asked the cloaked man what he was doing with me and he didn't reply. He picked up Pap by his scarf that I found him in and carried the two of us to the castle. He set us down and took off his hood. It was king Asgore. I was scared we were gonna be put into an orphanage or be killed. But, instead, he smiled down at us. He offered me a job as his sentry/lab assistant and I agreed, as I had no other way to provide for the two of us other than stealing. He asked me where my favorite place in the underground was and I said Snowdin. So he set up this house." I gesture to the house we are currently sitting in before continuing. "We moved in and I went to see what all the fuss was about being a sentry. In other words, I started my first day as a sentry. At first, I was excited to capture a human to make up for all the trouble I had caused for the king. But sentry isn't exactly the most eventful job, so I napped." Papyrus seemed annoyed that I have been napping on the job for so long. "But then, a few days later, Asgore asked me to come to the lab in Holland instead of to the ruins but when I got there..Asgore wasn't there. It was just a tall skeleton and a lizard monster, who looked to be not much older than I was. So I ask who they are. The skeleton looks over and I see his face. It was my dad. I was so happy, I ran into his arms with tears running down my face. After a while of catching up, he apologized for leaving me during the war. I hadn't told him about Pap, because I had no idea how he would react to a new son that wasn't even related to him. I started spending most of my time down in the lab, helping my dad anyway I could. I found out that there was an entire team of scientists who couldn't figure out how to get a machine to work. It was a very dangerous machine but I helped them out, and got it working. Asgore was so surprised at how smart I was at such a young age, and asked me if I would prefer a full time job as my dad's assistant. I was so excited to officially join the team. I wish I wasn't.. After Pap and my dad met, he wanted me to help him with the machine again. He started calling it the 'T5'. I said I would, and I was manning the controls, which were a few yards away from everything else. I turned the machine on. I was so scared for my dad. I had looked over all of his notes about possible outcomes of using the machine. Only a 1% chance of success. I was shaking so much, my bones rattled. Then the machine started to sink into a sink hole. It pulled everyone but me down with it. The whole team. Then it exploded, pushing me back and it broke the control panel into 7 pieces and I got stabbed by each one. This injury is what led me to only having one HP, it was that bad. Alphys found me on the ground and said that she had no idea who Dr. W.D. Gaster was, or who I was. I went home when I no longer had the metal plates in my bones. My body hurt from them still, but not as bad as when they were in me. But even Pap said he didn't know any Gaster. No one did. I went down into the lab one day and found Determination. I injected it into myself and I started to melt. I quickly found stabilizers and I stopped melting. But I found that my smile was permanent now. That's why I never frown. I physically can't frown. I still had both if my glowing eyes, so I was thankful for that. I went down to the lab again and did an experiment on myself. I shot lasers through my eye sockets. It hurt so much, but I didn't stop. I was only on my first eye. My right eye. I heard a crack and my right eye socket hurt even more. The pain stretched along the right side of my skull. So did the cracks. I stopped the laser and my skull felt like it was about to explode. I tried to use my healing magic on my eye socket but it didn't work. I wasn't focused enough and my energy was depleted. So I found bandages and wrapped them around the right side of my skull and socket. When I could finally take it off, I tried to glow my eyes in the mirror. Only one came on. So I had a broken socket and a permanent smile now because if my carelessness." I finish.

The two have mixed expressions on their faces. (A-N- this chapter is so long I'm tempted to end it here. But I don't want to make a part 3. Help me) "You two okay? You seem to be a bit rattled" I joke. Frisk giggles and Pap groans but smiles anyway.

(A-N- screw it, I'm ending it. I have an eventful week up ahead, so here. A chapter that's 1978 words long. Kill me.)
