Chapter 9

Jades POV

"Your crazy," Riley said in a serious voice.

"It's called standing up for yourself...I guess," I said back to her.

Riley's POV

I was nervous to see what Jade was gonna do. I didn't want to even look.

"I wouldn't do anything Jade," I said yelled across the hallway. But I can tell she wasn't listen to me.

"Oh gosh," I said to myself.

I saw her go up to her. I can tell she was talking to Becca. Becca didn't even listen to Jade. I watched the whole thing go downhill from there. Jade got punched. Again. Just in the cheek. At least it wasn't in the nose.

I ran up to Jade helping her up. Her cheek was bright red.

Jades POV

**later that day at home after school**

I was laying down in my bed with an ice pack on my cheek. I can't believe she punched me again.

I got a text from Lucas at 6:30pm.

-meet me outside

Y?

-just come outside

Ok ok

I walked outside to see Lucas sitting on my bench with a pizza box.

"Hi," Lucas said to me.

"Hi," I said back to him. "U didn't have to do this."

"U looked like u needed some cheering up," Lucas said to me. "Well after getting punched in the nose and cheek."

Lucas moved my hair to look at my cheek.

"Holy crap! She punched u hard!" He said to me.

"I know right!" I said back to him.

We ate almost the whole pizza. It was really good too.

This made me feel a lot better then before. Lucas can always make me feel better.
