Chapter 13

Lucas's POV

I finally got a call from Jades mom. Since Jade cut herself deep in her arm and leg, she had to get stitches. She hasnt even been to the hospital since she was in her coma.

After hanging up with Jades mom, I asked my mom if we can go to the hospital to visit Jade. Thank god she said yes. We went in her black mini van and drove to the hospital.

As we drove up, I can see Jades mom waiting for us.

"Hi Mrs. Johnson," I said to her.

"Hi Lucas. How's Jade?" I asked.

"She's doing good," Mrs. Johnson said back to me.

We walked to Jades room. I can see her on her iPhone.

"Hi Jade," I said to Jade.

"Hey," she said back to me.

She didn't seem happy.

"So I wanna talk about something," I said to her.

"Ok," she said back to me.

"Y did u do this?" I asked.

"Lucas I...I don't know. I was just done with everything in my life. I was done with the mean things they did to me. I was done with the notes. Just everything!" Jade said to me. "I just gave up."

"Wow," I said back.

I look at the stitches going up her leg and arm. I was just still in shock.

After 10 minutes of just talking, I had to leave.

We actually hugged.

"Bye Jade."

"Bye Lucas.'

And the door closed behind me.
