Chapter 2

Jades POV

**walks into school**

"It looks so much more different then our old school," I said to Riley.

Riley and I were in the same pod again this year.

"It does," Riley said to me as we walk to our homeroom.

Riley was also in the same homeroom as me. We walk to our class room. My teachers name was Mrs. Smith. I can tell she was really nice. She was standing at the door waiting to check off students names on the attendance sheets. We walk up to the class room.

"Name?" Mrs. Smith asked Riley and I.

"Jade Johnson," I said to her.

I walked in.

"Riley Franks," Riley said to her.

Riley walked in.

Riley and I were the first people to get to homeroom. Of course the next person to walk in was Lucas. I smiled at him. He smiled back. Our homeroom seats weren't that close because his last name started with a C and mine a J. I was still excited to see him though.
