Chapter 03

Seulgi's pov

Since then, Lee Taeyong never showed up. It's been a week since he disappeared and never bother to attend class. The scent of blood I used to smell is gone with him. To be honest, I don't really know why he acted like that before, he left us in wonder. And I don't think its has something to do with Hansol being chatty or the girls bothering him.

"Why do you think he's not attending class?" Taeil then approached me while dribbling the ball. We are on our way heading to the field and to the court. They will play basketball in the court while we, the girls will play soccer in the field.

"Why are you asking me?" I asked stretching my arms sideways.

"You didn't do anything weird to him, did you?" he asked that makes me frowned.

"I bet she did." Hansol then enters the scene. I looked at him with furrowed brows.

"What are you saying?" 

"Yeah, you must be that cold to him. Y'know? After you said to him 'You're too close.' he freaked out." He imitated me while totally exaggerating the story.

"What should I tell him then?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

"You can just play along, you know? He probably wants to be friends with you. You can just show him your bright smile." He then stop on his track just to hold my cheeks, forming it to curve. I looked at him with a bored look before he let go of me.

"He got a point." Taeil said while spinning the ball in his finger.

"Seriously? Who wants to be friends in that way? Whispering in someone's ear? That's creepy and uncomfortable." I defended.

"Do you think he's flirting with you, then?" Hansol asked which made me stop on my track.

"Ya. do you think she's flirtable then?" Taeil then asked him back as if Hansol just asked a nonsense question which I truly agree.

"Look, you two." I said, as I stood before them. "I'm not the weird one here. If you guys are interested with him, you go ask him why he did freaked out like that." I said as these two is slowly getting on my nerves.

"Okay, chill." Taeil chuckled that annoys me more. 

"Let her be, Hyung. She might have her period today." Hansol added before the two laughed their asses out.

"You guys have an option." I said as I looked at the opposite way where the court is. "You'll go now or—" 

"There she goes." Taeil said, cutting me off while raising both of his hands as a sign of defeat. 

The two of them laughed as they walked their way on the court, leaving me behind.

"Those two are really annoying." I said as I sighed while entering the field.

It's a bit cloudy today and the temperature is a bit low. The cold wind brushed against my face that makes me shiver a bit. The soccer field is wide and surrounded by the trees in the forest making it windy here.

"Do you think it's a good idea to play soccer right now?" Moonbyul suddenly asked. Our class is playing against theirs, the boys are also going to compete basketball with the boys in Moonbyul's class. It is considered as an activity since it was decided by our PE teacher.

She's a close friend of mine since first year. It's just too bad that she's in the another class when we reached our third year. Fate must be playful when she was also elected as their classroom president, making are bond more stronger than before since we can relate more to each other.
