Seulgi's pov

It is dark here and the fog around me blurred the vision of my surroundings. The sun rose and the cloudy sky covered it, hinting a gloomy weather. Being on an unfamiliar place which strangely, I am not sure enough, I look around only to found no one. Tall trees and cicadas are accompanying me. Despite of feeling the coldness of the wind brushing into my skin, I felt a warmth liquid slowly flowing against my cheeks.

It is tears.

"Why am I crying?" I uttered in a low voice.

"Eomma.. Appa.." a cracked voice followed by her sniff echoed around the woods. I looked around, seeing nothing but now familiar trees.

Have I been here before?

"Don't leave me here! Eomma! Appa!" the voice screamed louder and I suddenly feel my chest aching.

Why does it hurt? Why does this hurt so much? I grabbed my chest as I tried feeling out of breathe.

"Don't leave me here.." the voice uttered once again and as I turned around I saw a small figure. With furrowed brows, I look close enough and the face started to look familiar.

It is me, it is the young me, who is crying.

Why am I seeing myself? Why am I here? What's happening?

"Y-ya.." confused and stunned but I manage to utter a single word. I didn't know why I did that, expecting myself, my younger self to replied at me. Despite of not knowing what's going on, if I'm trapped in some sort of a dream or my own illusion.

"H-Hey, I'm here." I said once again, trying to tell her she's not alone.

A rustle of a running figure acrossed the grass got my attention, no- it got my younger self's attention.

"Eomma?! Appa?!" Her eyes widened before my younger self run and followed the figure.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" I didn't know why I shouted despite of not being heard but I saw myself hurriedly following her.

If this is just a dream, why does it feel so real? I'm panting and running. I can feel the wet grass and the mud beneath my feet.

The younger me stopped running as a woman covered in blood kneeled before her.

What an awful sight. I uttered from afar with furrowed brows.

"Eomma!" My younger self said as she wrapped her arms on the figure's neck.

"Eomma?" Without noticing, I found myself not running after her. I tried taking a step but something is stopping me. I can't now feel my limbs nor my arms. But I can clearly feel my own tears still falling warmly.

"Seulgi-ah.." a soft voice called me. No, she called the younger me.

That voice, is that mom's?

"Eomma?" I called.

Am I going to see her now?

"Eomma! It's me Seulgi! I'm here!" I screamed out of my lungs, trying to reach my mother's ears but it felt like I'm the only one who's hearing my voice echoing. I tried moving again but I really can't move.

"Eomma!!" I once again shouted, hoping that my voice and tears can reach her but suddenly I can't hear anything. Not my younger self's, my mom's, nothing but my own desperate voice.

"Why? Why can't I hear anything?!" I got my hands covered on my ears, panicking, before I looked at my younger self who's crying with my mother running away from her.
