Dear Girl who sits 3 seats behind me in math,
It took me a few days to answer you.
I was thinking about
what I could possibly say.
I found the letter ,
on my desk.
And after i read it,
I turned back and saw you.
Sitting 3 seats behing me.
Your curly hair,
falling around your face in spirals.
your eyebrows knitted together
as you wrote down notes from the lesson.
then you looked up.
and my heart stopped.
you said you're in love with my smile,
well
I'm in love with our eyes.
They're a dull grey,
yet sparkle like a newly polished diamond.
They're beautiful,
like bruised moons.
You looked at me,
and I looked at you,
I wanted to say hello,
but I never recieved your name.
so I just turned around
and tried to push the weird felling
in my stomach
away.
Reading over this
makes me feel stupid.
I can't write beautiful words like you,
I'm sorry for that.
always,
The boy that sits 3 seats in front of you in math.
p.s My names Michael
but i think you alread know that.
