The Fractured Holder [Pokémon/LoZ Crossover]

Hello, potential readers! I'm ImberLapis, and welcome to my first ever crossover story: The Fractured Holder. If you didn't already see, this is a crossover between The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon.

   First, I'll address how Pokémon are going to work in this story. Though I tend to go off the games' mechanics for my Pokéfics, due to the setting and circumstances presented within the story, any mentioning of levels, stats, and Abilities won't be present. In addition to this:
•Pokémon can use any move in their current evolution's learnset minus TMs/HMs.
•Psychic Pokémon are capable of communicating with non-Pokémon entities via telepathy.
•Pokémon are capable of receiving genuine injuries (ex. broken bones and blood loss).

   Secondly, I'll address the LoZ-related elements in this story:
•This iteration of Hyrule exists in a separate canon from the other LoZ games. References to other games will be made, but this story isn't placed on any of the canon timelines.
•The races of Hylian, Sheikah, Zora, Goron, Rito, Gerudo, Kokiri, and Deku will be present in this story. Besides the last two, which will take from Ocarina of Time for their appearances, all the other races' appearances will be based on their Breath of the Wild designs.
•Some lore of the games will be combined with my own lore plus headcanons.

   Moving on, this story contains many other content warnings worth mentioning. These are:
•Moderate blood and violence.
•Moderate swearing.
•References to and consumption of alcohol.
•Light to moderate death, murder and/or references to either of the former.
•Semi-graphic descriptions of the above listed content
•And most importantly, if you are at all discomforted by the topics of racism and racial discrimination, then do not continue on as these are very prominent in the story.

   I've always wanted to write a story that is more mature in themes and content without me having to resort to putting the mature content rating on it. As such I will try to stick to my guns with this one and not take it further than it should, since I have gotten flack for making my stories too dark in the past. However, I want to try and portray something akin to reality here, as "real" as a fantasy story based off video games can be, so keep that in mind.
