Ganondorf stared down the Sheikah woman before him with a stern glare. While she neared six feet in height, he still dwarfed her by another foot. Still, it could be commended considering most Hylians could only dream of that height, and the Sheikah could be considered the better equivalent of Hylians in a physiological sense.

Besides Ganondorf, this woman was one of the few people Daemos actively spoke with, as she was his informant for everything that lay shrouded in secret among the public. But secrets were nothing to the Sheikah.

"You're positive we can trust you to report right to our troops if there are any signs of the Holders in your territory," Ganondorf said with a deadly seriousness. "His Majesty may not know the finer details of your people, but I do, and I know you served the royal family due to Wisdom's presence."

The long scar by the Sheikah's mouth creased as she frowned. "Of course you can trust us. While our allegiance has long supported the Holder of Wisdom, we still ultimately serve the royal family. Wisdom is no longer in the bloodline, but our support remains."

"Then I will hold you to that statement," Ganondorf said with a nod. "As long as you tell us the truth, I'll trust whatever you tell us. And you know us Gerudo are a people of our word."

"Of course. Now, I must be returning to my village," the Sheikah said, offering a slight bow to Ganondorf. He never understood that, why they bowed instead of saluting like all other troops did. Perhaps it was in their customs, or that they didn't fancy themselves as traditional troops. Daemos never said anything about it, so Ganondorf didn't question it either.

"I hope you have a safe flight to Kakariko, Impa," he said. He never knew what to make of the Sheikah. He didn't have the same rampant mistrust for them as he did the Hylians, though arguably he should have had more. Legends spoke of the Sheikah once dabbling in things such as necromancy among other unsavory practices. Couple that with a known blood-soaked history due to their (literally) cutthroat work practices, and it amounted to a terrifyingly enigmatic people. But unlike the Hylians, the Sheikah hardly had room for lies, at least in the current era they didn't. For that reason alone, Ganondorf was more inclined to trust them.

"Thank you," Impa said, pulling up her mask so it obscured her lower face. "But before I go, if you don't mind me asking, are you okay, General? You seem..." She trailed off. "I'm sure haggard is what you don't want to hear, so I suppose I'll say tired."

"You're not wrong," Ganondorf admitted. "You know His Majesty has been keeping everyone in the Royal Guard busy, and it will remain that way until the Holders are captured."

Impa's eyes narrowed, though it was difficult to read her expression due to her mask. "It is a shame, but I won't say anything else in regards to it. Farewell, General." She bowed again before swiftly leaving, almost vanishing into the shadows of the corridor as if she was one herself.
