Crosshairs p.o.v

"Scrap." I muttered as it all started to crumble down. "Take cover!" Optimus shouted. All of us ran different places. The humans were gathered up by Hound. Bumblebee started to trail behind. I slid into a cave and Bumblebee got in with. A boulder covered the entrance. We could both still here everything outside. Then, it all stopped.
"Well, look who's stuck in here with me." Bumblebee looked at me and rolled his optics. He went to stand but gasped through his broken voice and fell to the dirt. In instinct I ran over to him. "What the hell happened kid?" He whirred and rolled over. There was a energon leaking wound on his side. "What happened?" He looks at it then blares through his radio, "fire captain." I sigh and ask, "which Con?" His radio comes through with static but he smacks his chassis, "Shockwave." I growled, "when I get my servos on him I'm gonna turn him into a bucket of bolts!" I then put pressure on Bumblebee's wound. "The others are gonna get us outta here. Promise ya." He smiles and nods.

Fifteen minutes later is when we start to hear shifting outside. "Their comin' fer us kid." Bee whirs quietly. I look at him. I've pulled him up against the wall of the cave so that he's leaning against it. Our headlights are the only thing that is letting us see in the dark. Along with our glowing optics. "...can't...go on...fading...fast." Bumblebee's radio sang. I looked as his optics started to dim. "Nah kid I'm not letting go out on meh now. Drift, Optimus, Hound, and Hot Rod are gonna get us outta here. Gotta stay with meh kid." He nodded. His servo started to go up, I watched him slowly. "I don't like showin' meh soft spot kid. But, you know you are in it." I grasp his hand that's been held out. "...we had a hell..of a run." I give him one curt nod. I sit next to him as I let his servo go. He leans onto me for support. "...don't..let me go." I shake my helm, "not this time kid. I know I haven't been nice to you." He shrugs, "used...to it." I bow my helm, "you shouldn't have to be." No response. I look at him to see his helm start to fall. "Bee...BEE... BUMBLEBEE!" No answer. "No, not ok meh watch!" I pick him up, "GET US OUT OF HERE, NOW! Bumblebee isn't gonna make it!" Then, all the rubble is removed in one swift movement. An angry Prime on the other side. I run up it and lay Bee onto the ground. "He's bleeding out Hound. Do something!" Hot Rod shouts. He's pacing and flipping out. Hound looks for a spark beat or venting. He went back up, optics wide. He shook his helm. Hot Rod dropped to his knees. He looked at Bumblebee with a faceplate full of horror. He sucked in a sob and let it out. I had never seen him cry like this. Ever. Vivian was looking at Bee in shock she chocked on her own sob. Izzy was crying. Tessa cried into Shane's shoulder who was also looking down. Vivian and Izzy went into Cade's arms. Optimus looked away. I...stood there with shock. I promised the kid. I promised my little brother. Hot Rods little brother. What the hell am I going to do? I looked to see the nearest boulder. I hit it with all of my rage. It cracked and Hound actually flinched. Hot Rod didn't. He was in his own world. Optimus wasn't even processing anything. Drift was looking at the ground searching for an answer. Then, "STOP!" Bumblebee squealed. Hound held him down. "Bumblebee?!" Bee stopped and laid there, panting. "Pain." He whimpered. Hot Rod cried with joy. Drift was smiling. I still stared in shock and disbelief. Optimus was grinning like the grinch. The humans were all smiling.
"How?" Hound was putting Bees plates together, "must have been a Knick in the wire that kinked out in the end." Cade sighed in relief. "I...will...never do that..again." I chuckled, let's hope not."

That day, we made it back to base. Bumblebee was talking with everyone when we made it back to Burton's place. His grave where he wanted it. Cogman lives there alone and so do all of us. It's safe and away from others. Bumblebee looked at me.
"You kept your promise." I bit back a tear. "Primus, kid, you scared me. I-I thought ya were a goner." He nodded, "I did too." I shook my helm. "I can't believe you." I hugged him. He nodded into me, "We...still have...a hell of a run." I laughed. "We sure do kid. Don't ever forget it."
