Underneath the rising sun

The world is changing
While the sun rises in the prominent side of the Earth
Thus days are never the same
But for some they look the same
Underneath the rising sun.

For some tears are seen as weakness...
Fears are just useless
Giving up is alright
Hypocrites!
They will never understand what happens
Underneath the rising sun.

For those in need...
Strike while the iron's hot
Feed their hearts with hope
Stand tall when the wind is strong
And never give up
Because they know that when the sunset...
Meals will be provided miraculously
At least it will be better than what happened

For good, they will survive
For bad, they will be listless
In misery, they will weep
In happiness, they will outwit the critics
And rise above all

Just when they made it
Those who sticked around were nowhere to be seen
When they were weeping,
The neighbours were laughing
When they needed food,
Some threw it away
Thus some see them as "enemies by eye"
And they will always be unhappy
When they prevail
