After a while we couldn't keep snowball so we gave him to a better home. When I'm walking home from a job I have and I hear crying. I walk to the crying and I aw the most adorable thing. I pick him up and I bring him home. My boyfriend isn't home yet so I'll keep what I found as a surprise. When my boyfriend came to mine and his home, he screamed a few seconds. I laugh a little. "what is that?" my boyfriend says. "I am groot" the thing says and it's baby groot. "ok it's nice to meet you groot, I'm Luis" my boyfriend says. "I am groot (how are you)" groot says. "I know you're groot" my boyfriend says and I laugh a little. "He talks in a different language and he said how are you" I say and my boyfriend take me to a room. "You know what happened with snowball so he can't stay here Melanie" my boyfriend says. "Bu luis.... he's adorable and I really like groot" I say. "he can't stay" my boyfriend says. "can he stay here until he has a good home?" I ask. "yes but when he does he's gone and he won't be here again" my boyfriend says. "ok" I say. Then we go to the living room and groot is watching TV while eating candy. He's watching Gravity Falls. "I am groot (I like this show)" groot says. "yeah it's a good show" I say to groot as I sit next to him. "you know what he's saying?" my boyfriend says and he's shocked. "Yeah" I say and Groot sits on my lap and he has a bowl of candy on his lap. "so where is groot is going to sleep? "my boyfriend says. "I am groot (I can sleep on this thing Melanie is sitting on)" Groot says. "he says he can sleep on the couch but it won't happen, I can make him a bed, he's not a lot big anyways" I say. "I am groot (thank you)" groot says. "you're welcome" I say to groot. The next day I spend the day with Groot and we dance a lot. Then when my boyfriend comes home Groot was dancing and I was watching groot dance. He was dancing to the song that's on the top of this chapter. It was near the end of the song and he danced like this.

"I am groot (hello)" Groot says and my boyfriend looks at me. "He said hello" I say. "Hi" my boyfriend says to him. "can we teach him english?" my boyfriend says. "I can try to teach him" I say. "ok" my boyfriend says. After a few weeks groot can talk normally. "I have great news" my boyfriend says as he comes in our home one day. "what's the good news?" groot says. "I found you a good home to stay at" he says to groot. "but I want to stay here with you and Melanie" groot says. "you can't stay here and where's Melanie?" my boyfriend says. "she had to go somewhere and can I say bye to her before I go?" groot says. "I'm sorry but you can't you have to leave now" my boyfriend says and a friend of mine and his takes groot away. When I come home a few hours later I notice groot is gone and my boyfriend is om the couch watching TV. "hey sweetie, I made your favorite food today" he says and he kisses my cheek. "where's groot?" I say and groot always runs to me when I get home and he always hugs me. "he's in a better home now lets go eat some food" my boyfriend says and I say ok. We eat the food and I don't talk a lot. I miss Groot. He was adorable and it was like he was a part of my family. It was mostly like he was my son but now he's gone. "are you ok?" my boyfriend says after I don't talk for a long time. "I'm ok, I'm just tired" I say. Months passed and I barely talk, I've started to eat less and I've been saying that I'm a lot tired. "this is why I said we shouldn't have let groot stay with us, you're acting the same way you did when we stopped having snowball" my boyfriend says. "but this hurts worse since groot was like family to me" I say. "he's in a better place now and you and I both know if snowball couldn't stay here he cant stay here" my boyfriend says. "he could've if we tried but you just gave him away before I knew you were going to and I didn't get to say goodbye" I say and I cry a little. "I'm sorry sweetie, I just didn't want you to get hurt" my boyfriend says. "well congratulations, I'm not hurt, I'm just broken" I say and I go to the guest room and I lay on the bed crying. Then my boyfriend sits next to me and he pulls me close to him and I'm still crying and he kisses my cheek and I feel another hug and it's a small hug. I look at where the small hug is coming from and it's groot. I hug groot and I smile and I also hug my boyfriend. I also kiss my boyfriend's cheek and he smiles. Then groot tells us that he will be in his room so groot goes to his room and me and my boyfriend go to our room and we cuddle and since it's night time we all go to sleep.
