[Paul's P.O.V.]

Troublesome and I have been dating for about three years. Her mom kicked her out a week ago so it was only natural that my girlfriend stay with me. I love Dawn. I hide it as much as I can, never having gotten over the fact that it may make me look weak. She has changed me for the better though. I'm not as cold as I used to be and I know that I can learn from my mistakes.

Anyway, Twilight decided to have a Disney movie marathon. It's midnight... We've watched four movies so far, which brings us to Robin Hood and running out of popcorn.

 "Troublesome, let me up."

"Nooo! You're warm, I'm cold," she complains, pulling me back ontop of her. She's gotten stronger... I place a short, soft kiss on her lips before pulling myself back off of her.

"I'll be back before you know it," I state.

"Fineeee..."She groans at the lack of warmth. Before I leave the room she sits up, wrapping a blanket around herself.

I escape to the kitchen, where I am left alone with my thoughts while making popcorn. I've been tossing the idea of proposing around in my mind for weeks, and I think I might. We're old enough now and I can see a future with her, so what's stopping me? 'Pride' is what my mind snaps to because it's always been a problem of mine, but I know that's now what it is this time. It's fear. Fear that I won't be able to provide for her, provide for our family.

Dawn wants kids. I would be lying if I said I didn't, although, I'm not exactly sure about how to be a father. Reggie was the closest thing I had to a father growing up.

I laugh silently at the idea of me and Troublesome surrounded by blue and purple haired kids.

I take the popcorn out of the microwave and walk back to the living room. Dawn is sitting in the same position she was in when I left, asleep. I smile, placing the bowl on the table beside me.

"Couldn't even make it till I got back," I mumble thoughtfully, staring at this precious young woman. I sit down beside her and pull her head onto my shoulder.

"I love you Paul," she mumbles in her sleep.

I kiss her forehead and whisper, "i love you too Dawn." She smiles lightly at hearing this and continues to smile in her sleep.

The movie eventually turns off and I am left trying to decide how to ask her to marry me.
