The ginger stud looked around, he was scared, alone. The vapor blowing from his mouth from the cold chill of the air. He shivered, his striped fur fluffing up. "H-hello?" he breathed out. There was no response, just the sound of the swamp grass flowing in the breeze and bugs buzzing in the Night. Adam was scared to move, but he forced himself forward. In the breeze he caught onto the scent of a sweet smelling bush. He slipped underneath it and huddled next to the trunk of it. Hiding under it as he watched the stars outside. "Mama.. Daddy... Rarasi..." He whispered his parents and sister's name. He wondered if they could see the same stars in their home. His island, the one where that Blue Jayhawk ripped him from his kingdom. Young Adam's eyes watered as he lowered his head.

Adam didn't sleep much that night, his mind had been filled with dreams of his mother's howls and sister's wails of fear as he was grabbed up by the Jayhawk and whisked away. The stud blinked as he forced himself to climb out from the bush. Smelling the sweet scent again, he looked at the bush he had slept under. Berries! Bright pink, large, shiny berries! Adam licked his poison fangs hungrily as his stomach growled. He picked a berry and saved it for later, then ate one right then and there. It was so sweet and juicy. Not to mention surprisingly filling. He sighed with content, maybe he was going to be okay. He was getting bigger now, maybe he could look for his family himself. Feeling a bit more brave, he looked toward the horizon, he could just barely see Stepping Stones off in the distance, leading off towards a strange distant place.

A few days had passed, And adam had gathered up as much food from the bush as possible. It was that day rainy day he had decided to trek forward. He started the move across the small island following the northern horizon in hopes to find his new island. After a full day of walking with determination, he found it. The grassy beach that lead the way to his new life. He didn't have a clue on how his life would turn out from here on. What his legacy would accomplish and discover. Adam took a deep breath before holding a paw out and stepping on the stone. Never looking back.
