Moonstone woke up with Violet calling on her cell phone, around 6:54 am. Begrudgingly, she answered the phone. They spoke for a few minutes, exchanging information on what they were doing today, and then Moonstone hung up the phone.

Opening the blinds to her hotel room, the sun was rising, reflecting a blood orange color onto her pale blue skin. Her silk robe was of pale purple, with flower designs. She began thinking about what she would do, working with Amethyst again. It had been years, she couldn't imagine. The Vlad'unp shook her head, her hair tangled and messy.

A few minutes passed when she heard a knock at her door. The knock was faint, but she could still decipher the message. Walking to the door, she peered through the looking-glass, and there stood Amethyst and the two detectives. Her heart began to ignore the melody of her heart, it beating faster every moment she stood there. But she had to open the door. They had a job to do.

Opening the door, Amethyst's smile faded when he saw her. They took a deep look into each other's eyes, as they usually did.

"I...need to take a shower and change--"

"Oh, no we understand. Can we come in?" Amethyst interrupted Moonstone, nudging to get into her room.

She pondered over his words and nodded. Jen, Dalis, and Amethyst then rushed into the room and sat down on her couch. Moonstone grabbed a change of clothes from her suitcase and rushed into the bathroom, flustered that he would offer such a thing. The three began to converse in her living room as she slipped off her pajamas and silk robe in the bathroom.

She turned on the shower, turning the knob a little farther to the left to get the hot water started. As she waited for the shower to adjust, she looked at herself in the mirror. Bags had formed under her eyes, deep ones, that she had tried to get rid of. I didn't sleep very well.

The shower began to erect steam, fogging the mirror. She laughed as she opened the curtain to the shower and began to get hit by the hot water. She jumped a little by the steaming heat. Turning down the heat, she dipped her head into the water and began to comb out her hair. The water fell and slid onto her pale porcelain skin, her dark hair is saturated with water. There she shampooed and conditioned her hair.

Quickly getting out of the shower, she dried her skin, washed her face, brushed her teeth, dried her hair and began to apply makeup and get dressed.

Jen and Dalis were conversing while Amethyst was checking the news on the television. But everyone stopped as Moonstone stepped out of the bathroom, looking for her shoes. "Don't just stand there, let's go and get this over with!" She exclaimed in a rush as she grabbed her purse and put on her watch, immediately afterward putting on her earrings.

They walked out of the hotel room and made it to the garage. Amethyst unlocked his pale silver Mercedes, opening the driver's door and sitting in the seat. As a tradition, the rest waited until he was situated and had closed the door. Moonstone then sat in the passenger's side, Jen and Dalis sitting in the back. "So, what street do I take to get to your house?" Amethyst asked, and she shrugs her shoulders. Pulling out her phone, she got the address on Degnasi Maps, directing him as they pulled out of the garage.

"This is your home?" When they arrived at her home, chills ensued her body. Moonstone began recalling the horrific memory of seeing a crime scene in her own home. Where she lived, where she felt safe. She couldn't believe that one of her clients could do something like that. Out of all her years of defending guilty and not guilty men and women, they have not ever threatened her the way she did.
