I was just reading this book and noticed the author never really puts the word said in it. I was so disappointed because they always seemed to be avoiding it. Said is not a bad word. You're not cursing god by saying said.
It just annoys me though. We all learned to do that shit in like third grade here in America. Is it really that hard to say said? I've said it 5 times already.
Some examples of replacement words for said.
1.exclaimed
2.Shouted
3.yelled
4.barked
5.teased
6.whispered
7.snapped
8.cried
9.ect, ect.
So those are some of the things people write. Well Reilly, why are you so mad about this? Well if you wish to know I shall tell you. So I get it. You want to explain how the character is feeling without saying said. But is it really necessary to avoid the word said throughout the story? It just pisses me off. I would never do that. M-kay.
Do you people not like the word said? Or is it that it's too boring? I just don't get it.
