Sparks of a Flame
Engulfs the emptiness of life
Burning to a crisp
All who ignorantly give it strife

The fire illuminates those
Who accept its wild nature
And turns to smoke
All those who reject its stature

It chars everything
Standing in its wisdom
And it dances with those
Who keep it in rhythm

It engulfs everything
That stands against it
Its beauty is experienced
When it is emit

It enchants a spell into your heart
As you closely observe it
Then you notice that this spark
Is something very stark

It burns with a rhythm
It flares into your soul
The distinctive colors of red, orange and blue
Will make your soul true once again

Fire can be a passion inside one's heart
Or a raging furnace engulfed in rage
It really is your choice in life
To how you perceive it in its age

As the cinders turn to ash,
So does the light of day
But the fire will glow ever brightly
In the darkness that surrounds the night

And on top of those cinders
In the shining sun of the light
A new civilization will rise upon the fire
That caused the old world's blight

And the civilization will thrive
And new things will be found
For the good of our lives
Or for the future newfound

But we can dance around the fire

and celebrate the hardships that we overcame

for the spark that caused the world's demise

will be the spark that ignited the dancing flame
