Ohm had woken up that morning in darkness. It wasn't anything new to him or the rest of the world. It has been like that for years, thousands probably. He honestly envied those who have lived in a world full of light and vibrancy. Not the cold, dark, and dull world that he was living in right now. And that is why he wore his bandanna that covered his eyes from the rest of the world. Because he didn't want to see the world as it was. He hastily got ready and at 7:30 a.m, he was already out of the door.

He approached his locker, his best friend already there. He could see the same stares as every morning. They were staring at his bandanna. But Ohm didn't have time to deal with them this morning. He gave a small nod as he approached the tall blonde, Bryce. Bryce smiled back and moved out of the way for ohm to get his books. They stood in peaceful silence before Bryce had to leave. Ohm watched as Bryce walked up to group of guys that have arrived and walked away with them. Ohm has never really interacted with Bryce's group other than Bryce alone. For he hated interacting with so many people. His day went on as any school day would go, slow and miserable. And the darkness outside didn't help his situation either. Ohm felt himself drift off into his mind more than usual However. Which resulted in him getting scolded by his history teacher. He watched as the class quietly snickered, but he wasn't one to care. He kept his emotionless face and calmly apologized to the teacher. The teacher eventually shrugged it off and returned to the lecture. He felt the stares pierce on the back of his head as everyone stared at him for any type of emotion. But they eventually gave up. Because the bandanna was the only thing preventing them of seeing his eyes and the emotion that they carried. At this, Ohm dryly chuckled. He loved confusing people on how he felt. Because no one but his mother have seen his eyes. But with his mother gone, he now wore it even at home. His uncle, his new guardian, has never questioned the bandanna and let Ohm have his privacy, something that Ohm greatly respected.
The bell rung, signifying the end of school. Ohm was at his locker about to leave, but when he turned around he immediately ran into someone, knocking both of them onto the ground. He groaned as he lifted himself off the floor. He was about to apologize until he heard the other speak first, "Watch where your going idiot. And take off that bandanna because its not making your sight any better." Ohm watched as the other got up and brushed himself off, his icy blue eyes pierced onto his bandanna. But none the less Ohm held on an emotionless face and simply said, "I would rather be blind than see that ridiculous face of yours." At his words the other's eyes widened before they turned to anger. He grabbed onto the collar of Ohm's shirt and shoved him against his locker. Ohm tried not to show any emotion as he struggled against the other's grip. But before either could say anything they were interrupted with a frantic Bryce running to them shouting, "Tyler! Ohm! Stop!" Bryce quickly separated the both of them before continuing, "What is going on here?!" Ohm turned to the one presumably named Tyler before speaking calmly, "I don't know what he wants with me. It was only an accident." Tyler scoffed at this and spoke, "I don't know why you talk to this freak Bryce. Not only is he dumb as fuck but he's also blind as fuck." At this, Bryce suddenly pushed Tyler. Even Ohm couldn't hold in his shock, Bryce never showed anger. He was always the bubbly one. "Enough. I don't want to see any friend of mine fighting. So I encourage the both of you to apologize", Bryce firmly said. He watched as both Ohm and Tyler awkwardly apologized to one another before parting ways, earning a small smile from him.
Ohm quickly got out of the building before anyone noticed he was gone. He made sure no one was around as he walked home. He let out a grunt as he placed a firm hand to his heart. He had felt something ignite when he first saw Tyler's eyes, but it wasn't him. And the fact that something stung when Tyler said those things to him just made it more confusing. Ohm was never fazed to any kind of insult, but those words have hurt something in him. Or rather someone.
