Ohm lay restless that night. The pain in his heart still very real. He held in another gasp as another wave of pain coursed through his body. This time, however, it wasn't his chest. He gripped his head tightly as he made his way to the bathroom. His uncle who was fast asleep in his room didn't even budge as Ohm slammed the bathroom door closed. Ohm made his way to the mirror and untied his only protection from the world from his head. The bandanna fell in his hands as he splashed water in his face as some sort of comfort to his throbbing head. He looked up to see hazel eyes piercing back at him, his eyes. And with that single glance of his reflection, the pain stopped all at once. He stood, surprised at the miracle that had happened. How does one stop pain with a single look at his reflection? Not only that but, how was Tyler out of all people able to hurt something inside him? No matter what pain he felt, he at least knew something. That certain "thing" wasn't him at all. He wasn't fazed by Tyler's insults, but something or someone was.
Ohm decided to not keep theorizing and instead go to bed. He had enough headaches for one day. And with that, he collapsed onto his bed and slept.

Ohm had woken up to a bright light in his eyes. He groaned as he opened his eyes and tried adjusting to the light. When they adjusted, however, he immediately noticed how bright his whole room was. The usual dark room was now visible and vibrant in color. He looked around his room as looked at his bookshelf, drawer, desk, and even his own book bag. They looked so different than he normally would see them in the usual dark world. He hesitantly opened his curtains and gasped as he saw the world flash in vibrancy before him. He could feel the tips of his lips curve into a smile. This, this is all he ever wanted. A world full of life. He looked at the giant orb of light in the sky as it illuminated the entire Earth. The sun, he presumed. He looked at his surrounding for God knows how long, but he couldn't less as he smiled at his beautiful world finally flourishing. He would've spent hours by his window if it weren't for a voice that spoke, interrupting Ohm's thoughts. "Beautiful isn't it?", a soft voice spoke from behind startling Ohm in the process.
The voice chuckled as Ohm jumped and looked behind him. A man shorter than he was stood by the doorway to his room. His hazel eyes behind his glasses matched those of Ohm, probably the exact color. Realizing that he was staring, Ohm looked away before nodding. The person only seemed to chuckle as he spoke, "Glad to hear that people admire my work. Come, it's better when you get to experience it outside." Ohm smiled as he began following the shorter man before being stopped again, "Before we go outside. Please take off that bandanna. I get that your trying to shade us from the dullness of the world, but when it comes to this place please let us both enjoy the wonders that this world once contained", the man spoke softly, pointing at the bandanna. Not even noticing he still had it on, he reached up to untie it before freezing. "What do you mean shading the both of us? what do you mean by this place? Is this merely a dream? Are you some sort of ghost or something?", Ohm questioned. The man only let out a soft smile as he started to make his way down the stairs. "Hey wait!", Ohm yelled frantically as he ran after the person. He hastily took off his bandanna, not caring where it landed, as he ran to the front door where the man was waiting patiently for him.
"Everything will be explained in due time, Ryan. But for now, let us enjoy this little time we have in this place before returning to the real world", the person spoke softly as he reached for the door handle. Ryan, that was a name that Ohm hasn't heard in years. He had promised himself not to go by that name ever since his mother's death. For those memories haunted him as long as he had that name attached to him. But before Ohm could protest the use of his real name, the man had opened the door and headed outside. A soft breeze hit him almost immediately. It wrapped itself around His body as it calmed every nerve in his body. Such warmth that he has never experienced until now. It almost felt real. Ohm followed the person outside. They sat on his front porch as they stared at the life happening in front of them. The birds chirped joyfully as they flew through the air enjoying the warm summer breeze. People walked here and there, the orb in the sky illuminating their faces. Plants stood at their highest peak as they tried absorbing as much sunlight as they possibly can.
"I know you have questions Ryan, and I will answer them in due time. But if you really want to know who I am, I am whatever you see outside. I am mother nature, who lives in your mind", the man spoke. Ohm turned to look at him. So he really wasn't going crazy, there really was someone else in his mind. But that didn't explain how he got in his mind in the first place. "How did you get in my mind? Why my mind and not a physical body?", Ohm asked, careful to not anger the being. He had just found out that he was a powerful being that just happened to be in his mind. He didn't want to risk angering him. "I may be in your mind, but that doesn't mean I am not a physical being. My physical body is somewhere under the depths of my own masterpiece held as a prisoner. I chose you since birth with a single favor. To liberate me and to end the darkness in the world once and for all", the being spoke turning his gaze from the world around them to Ohm.
Ohm found himself dumbfounded once again. why him out of all people? what did he find special that even Ohm didn't catch? Was he even human, or was he some sort of servant to this being? He wanted answers but he wasn't even able to speak when the world suddenly grew dark and the man beside him started to fade. The man nervously chuckled as he spoke, "One of us is waking up. Remember, from now on you won't have regular dreams as when you were a child. We will both appear here, and I will answer every question you have in due time. Good luck Ryan." And with that, the man along with the rest of their surroundings faded out of existence.
Ohm opened his eyes. He was in his room. He groaned and stood up and rubbed his eyes. That is until he remembered his dream. He jumped out of his bed and opened his curtains. Darkness. The world hasn't changed at all since he woke up. He sighed, remembering the vibrant colors he saw in his dream. And remembering he had left his bandanna in the bathroom, he groggily went to fetch his only escape from this miserable world. He lifted the bandanna to his eyes and tied it to his face. His face that once contained a smile had now gone emotionless.

Earth sighed as he opened his eyes to the same dark cell he was kept in ever since he was kidnapped. Rescuing him would not be an easy task, as even Earth didn't know where he was. At least he was able to communicate with his host.
The sound of footsteps was enough to steer him away from his thoughts as darkness made his way to Earth. Darkness let out a cackle as he looked down towards Earth before speaking, "Is my beloved ready to answer me?" Earth only let out a grunt as he turned away from darkness in disgust. He was not his beloved. Darkness only smirked as he pulled out a key, "guess not. I guess it's another day of horror for you Earth. I'm not sure how you'll react to this one but I know one thing, you can't keep hiding from me forever my dearest mother nature", he said. And with that, everything went silent until only the screams of Earth were heard.
