I brought the woman inside and brought her to one of the empty rooms close to my family's. I sat her down on the bed and was about to leave when she took one of the lamps on the bedside table and tried to hit me in the head with it, though I moved quickly and caught her arm with only one hand. I will admit she was quite the fighter, and that strangely made me like her a little more. I removed the lamp from her hold and placed it back on the table before leaving her in the room. I can't get to attached to this mortal as soon as she finds someone she finds right; she'll be going home.

A few minutes later I decided to send my sister Armesa along with Zamili to the mortal's chamber to give her proper clothing and get her ready to eat her dinner. She is human, so I already know that souls won't surface, luckily she isn't the only one of her kind here; many have come here to escape the wrath of others, some because they fear those that care for them, and one because she is my family. The girl will eat with them, for I feel she will be too scared to eat with the rest of my family and me.

I make my way to the mortals' place of living to inform them of what has occurred. during this time Armesa and Zamili had gone to the young woman.

(Armesa pov:)

Zamili and I had made it to the rooms that my brother that brought the princess. I knock on the door before entering finding the young lady laying on the bed.

Armesa: "I hope I'm not intruding"

she looked up at me as if she had walked out of a nightmare, and I knew that feeling well,

Zamili: it's alright miss, we're here to help you get more comfortable,

Armesa: "what is your name?"

she said nothing though I can imagine why that is until Zamili spoke up,

Zamili: "my name is Zamili, I brought you some of my mother's old dresses! my grandmother said that you would feel more comfortable in human clothing, so I bought this!"

her smile was sweet, though she was the daughter of a demon she had the kindness of her mother,

princess:" Allia, my name is Allia."

Armesa: "I am Armesa, I was asked to make sure that you were in proper clothing and that you found your way to the dining hall,"

Zamili placed the small stack of beautiful dresses by Allia and offered to help her change, which Allia kindly declines, saying that she wouldn't want to trouble her. After that, Zamili and I waited for her outside of the room. We figured she would prefer not to change in front of strangers. In a few moments, Allia came out wearing one of the navy blue dress with light blue accents and her hair tied in a simple braid, though she still seemed uneasy.

Armesa: "do not worry, my king believed that you would not wish to dine with him, so he has made arrangements for you to dine with the other humans,"

Allia: "there are others?"

Armesa: "yes, most of them are runaways, fugitives, castaways, some who were brought here like you,"

Zamili: "my mother was like that, and my grandmother was a runaway!"

Allia: "I see..."

Armesa: "my brother sees no reason to make them leave so he gave them a big part of this castle to call there own,"

Allia: "brother?"

Armesa: "yes, I am the twin sister and adviser to the king."

after saying that she stopped walking and even looked like she was about to run

Armesa: " do not fear, we won't harm you, but I do wonder why my brother actually accepted to go through with this,"

Zamili: "maybe she reminds him of mommy in some ways,"

Armesa: "perhaps."

Allia seemed to not know what to do anymore, but Zamili continued to lead her to the human's dining hall. Once we arrived, we could see that a few who had gotten there, as well as my brother. He was kneeling in front of our mother and holding her hand to his forehead like he did when he was little and trying to make her smile.
