Deadly Knight

(this chapter goes back to the beginning and is like a flashback of sorts)

(Senron pov:)

A knight had made his way through the gates somehow. He had gone through many guards and traps to get to my king and even chose to attack civilians. For this reason, I was on my way to the gates, making sure that everyone was alright and that medical attention was given to those who needed it.  it did not take long to get to the gates, but once there I saw how the knight had entered, the guards stationed there had been knocked unconscious due to the effects of a sleeping spell, and the gate was bent inwards due to what looks like a few Calders running into it, the thought of him using such a calm and gentle creature to help him brack into our lands only added to my anger though I chose to keep it hidden and wake up my sleeping comrades who all seemed rather Suprised to see me there in the first place.

Guard 1: "general Senron, sir! What happened?"

Senron: "a mortal king's knight broke through the gates and put you all into slumber,"

Guard 1: "I apologize general, we should have done more to stop him,"

Senron: "it is not your fault,"

Guard 2: "sir, there are mortals approaching,"

Senron:...

Knight: "Well would you look at this, they do have monsters event at the gates to this hell!"

I focused my attention on the guards and made sure that they were truly uninjured.

Senron: "I will need a report from all of you in order to make so that this does not happen again,"

Knight: "hey creature I'm talking to you!"

I then turned my attention to the gates and inspected the damage done properly, it looked as though I could fix it but not with a proper look I believe they will need to be fully replaced. As I thought this one of my men came to me and whispered to me something that I did not expect.

Guard 3: 'sir, they have a prisoner with them'

I turned quickly to see what he was talking about and sure enough, they had what appeared to be a prisoner. Tied up to the back of a horse was a young woman, her dress was torn and her hair was a mess, she looked scared.

Senron: "what is this?"

Knight: "we're bringing her to the king of monsters for her father, the king, as some sort of gift,"

His smile was unsettling, to say the least, and his words were close to making me release my wrath I have been trying so hard to keep from erupting.

Senron: "turn back, my king would not expect such a thing,"

When saying this I saw all the knights' smiles widen and the young princess's eyes widened in fear, I knew what was going to happen if they left,

Knight: "well if that's the case then will have to bring her with us, after all the king won't take her back,"

I unsheathed my sword which confused my men until they saw what had released my anger.

Senron: "I truly hate mortals, treating each other so poorly, it sickens me"

I'm the blink of an eye I was in front of the first knight with my sword at his throat.

Senron: "following a man because he has money or is what you believe holy"

The next moment I was behind the second knight my sword at his back, Facing away from him.

Senron: "believing that you are better because you were born a male"

Next, I was beside two of the knights with my sword by one's head and my dagger was at the others' throat.

Senron: " following the words of a cowardly God"

Finally, I was behind the last knight with my sword having already gone through him.

Senron: "I truly hate mortals..."

I removed my sword from the knight. Every one of them stood still in shock until I returned my sword within the sheath, at that moment they all crumbled to the ground. There blood leaking out of them as they all began to be absorbed by the darkened soil. I returned my attention to the girl who had closed her eyes and took hold of the lead that the first knight let go of, and began leading the girl inside of the realm. She may be a mortal but she deserves to be in a better place then where she came from, even I can see that.

Senron: do not worry, miss, you will be safe here now,
