3 MONTHS LATER

Kiara's point of view :

"I love you darsh..." I said for the thousandth time in the last two hours.

"I love you too Kiara" he replied every time in his weak, low voice.

I caressed his head and smiled at him trying hard to control my tears. He smiled back and squeezed my other hand which we were holding.

"You're very lucky son! To have her in your life. She was with you every single moment! Praying for you. Everyday". Mom said to Darshan.

"I know mom. I could feel it. Even when I was unconscious. I could feel her by my side" Darshan said lying on the hospital bed, looking at mom. "thank you for everything Kiara" he said turning his head towards me.

I couldn't control more. One by one my tears started to roll over my cheeks down to my lips.

I never understand, why is life so difficult for me. What wrong have I done to not deserve happiness! Whenever I think, that yes, everything is normal now. My life is getting better and happy, something wrong happens! Every time!! The day which was supposed to be the happiest, became a nightmare for me. I lost my dad! And darshan met with an accident lending up in coma!

"Don't cry Kiara. Please!" Darshan said in his weak voice, looking directly into my eyes.

"I missed you" I could only utter.

I wiped my tears and smiled a bit looking at him. He smiled back. He's looking so weak, so fragile! It is really heartbreaking for me to see him like this. But now is not the time to feel heartbroken. Today is the day of total happiness! After three months, my love is back! Things are gonna get better from now. Everything will come back to its place. Happiness will again bloom! And this time, I'll make sure that nothing goes off track.
