LOVE... Once Again (Darshan Raval)

PART 9

"Darshan its going to be okay. I think it's even better if we can meet her outside the office! You know you can just have a talk with her and make everything normal. Its been five years since you both have separated. You've moved on and I think she would also like to forget the past and work peacefully here! Just have a talk with her okay?" I said to Darsh. I don't know why but I think that he should make everything normal with Nikita again. I mean whatever she did is past! We should always move on! And when she's gonna be here with us for the next few months, Darshan should make his terms better with her. Otherwise it would be very difficult for us to work together.

"I'll see Kiara. Ek toh you're making me work with her, on that you want me to talk to her! You said I won't have to talk to her, now this stupid dinner plan! What are you up to? And why aren't you understanding that I am not liking all this!" Darshan said, irritated! He's upset with me. But I know the need of the hour. He's not being able to see what I can see! I just want the work place to be having a nice working environment, and not a tensed one!

"okay Darsh, just give it a thought. In the end, do whatever feels right" I said.

We are on our way to Bhai's place.. I mean, my place . Actually, since the day Darshan has woken up from the coma, I haven't left him alone! I've shifted to his place. There I do have a separate room there, as his mom told me not to stay with him in his room at nights before marriage.

"And Darshan, I've told everything about you and Nikita to bhai. That's why he has cancelled the movie plan and decided to go out for dinner instead. He also thinks that its best for us if you talk to her and make everything fine." I told him

"Hmm" He just hummed looking out of the window.

Soon we reached to my home. I hugged bhai and bhabhi and greeted Nikita. Darshan stayed silent and sat on the sofa.

"Oh my god! At the work place I couldn't even guess that you both are engaged! Its at home only that Amaya told me about your engagement!" Nikita said. Her voice filled with excitement and enthusiasm. She was wearing a blue knee length dress.. She's beautiful, I must say!

"Uh.. Actually We like to keep it professional at the office" I answered smiling a bit.

"Guys we are gonna go and grab some ice cream. Amaya is really killing me with her weird cravings these days" Bhai said to which bhabhi pouted and they left the place.

We are sitting in the lawn of our house post dinner. The dinner went well. Though Darshan and Nikita didn't talk to each other much, but I could see darshan getting a little more comfortable with her presence. Now its time for me to give them some time alone to settle everything!

"Kiara you know what! I think I am really gonna have some amazing time working on this project" Nikita said. He voice still filled with enthusiasm

"Ofcourse you will" I said smilingly "uh.. I am actually getting a call, excuse me for a minute" I said to which Nikita nodded. I looked and Darshan glaring at me with his intense eyes. I quickly averted my eyes from him and walked away looking at my phone.

He must be really angry with me for doing this! Oh my God! What did I just do? .

You left your fiance with his ex girlfriend trying to make everything okay between them? What a great move Kiara Mittal! Keep going!

I walked away from the lawn towards the main gate pretending to be talking on the phone. Darshan's really gonna get mad at me for doing this. I walked a few steps away from them so that they could neglect my presence and talk freely to each other. I just hope this works! I am hating doing this but this is needed.

I stayed there for about 10 minutes until I heard some footsteps from behind. I turned around to look at their direction and saw both of them walking towards me!

Did my plan work? They are together!

"If you're done talking then I think we should be leaving Kara" Darshan said with a small smirk pasted on his face. I looked at Nikita who was looking at me smiling.

"y-yeah" I spoke awkwardly and pretended to say a bye over the phone to which Darshan rolled his eyes sighing.

What is with him sighing today! He has almost sighed a fifty times today since evening!

"So? Everything sorted between you two? I mean.. You seem to get a little comfortable around her. Did you guys talk when I was on the phone?" I asked feeling nervous and restless! Darshan was so busy smirking all the way home that he didn't even talked a single word to me. We are now at home. He is sitting on the bed with his laptop and I was doing my night routine before going to the bed.

" Hmmm? Did you say anything?" he said not looking at me.

"You and Nikita? Everything sorted?" I asked again.

"ohh that! Yeah yeah. Completely sorted" he replied with a smile forming on his lips.

Excuse me? Did I make a mistake leaving him alone with her?
