LOVE... Once Again (Darshan Raval)

PART 8

Kiara's point of view:

"Kiara ma'am, the clients are gonna be here in 10 minutes" my secretary, Radha told me.

"Okay, everything is set right?" I asked her and she replied with a yes.

I quickly called Darsh and told him to come. I could sense that he isn't much interested in this project now, like he was before! But I know that its because he had been away from all this since last few months. Once he will get back to work again, he'd be the same enthusiastic Darshan, who loved every bit of his work!

After a few minutes the clients finally arrived! There was a team of five people, three men and two women. All of them were Australians except a girl, Nikita! She's Indian. We were told that the four Australians would leave once everything is discussed and planned out. Only Nikita would be here to help us and keep an eye upon everything!

"Welcome to India everyone! I hope you're liking it in our country!"

"ofcourse! India is a beautiful and very versatile country. It is always a pleasure to visit India!" a man said and everyone said a yes to it. "You say Nikita. How do you feel coming back to India?" the man asked Nikita with a smile on his face.

"Its like coming back to home, after years!" Nikita replied closing her eyes and inhaling deeply. "By the way, where is Mr, Darshan?" Nikita asked all of a sudden. Something in her is definitely very strange! I mean, she is very beautiful and smart but by the time she has come, it's like her mind is not here with us! She's continuously looking here and there, as if searching for something, or someone!

"oh, he would be here after lunch!" I told everyone.

"Hope he's fine now" the other lady said and I told her that he's fine.

Soon we had lunch and were heading towards the conference room. Darshan would be here any moment now.

We all got settled on our seats in the conference room when the door of the room got open. Darshan's here! He smiled and greeted everyone shaking hands, till his eyes got on Nikita! His smile suddenly vanished away and and face became blank. I looked at Nikita who had a little smirk on her face.

What's happening!

"Hi Mr Raval. I am Nikita Shah!" She said in her sugar coated voice. Smirk not leaving her face!

One second, she's Nikita Shah! Darshan's ex? Oh my god!

"Hi" Darshan replied coldly and looked at me. I was already looking at him. I know what he must be feeling right now! Nikita had once broken Darshan so bad, that he had stopped believing in love!

"Excuse me everyone! I need to discuss something important with Miss Kiara!" Darshan said to everyone to which all nodded and we headed outside the conference room.

"Call the project off!" Darshan said with an urgency in his voice.

"Calm down Darsh! Thande dimag se socho" I said to him placing my hand on his forearm. I know it is very difficult to work with someone with whom you have such a situation, like Darsh has with Nikita. But I don't want him to take any decision that would make him regret later! Calling the project off would do a lot of negative publicity of Raval Industries! We had the client waiting for us for so long, and now when they are here, we can't call it off just like that!

"Please understand Kiara, I can't work... let alone work, I don't even want to see her!" Darshan said, he was restless.

"Darsh, look at me" I said calmly and made him look at myself. "I know it is a very difficult situation. I know what happened between you and her and I also know that you don't wanna work with her. But Darsh, sometimes we have to do things which we aren't willing to do! Darsh, you have worked real hard to make Raval Industries what it is today! And I don't want you to take any decision in a hurry. If we call off the deal now, without any reason, it would be a true example of unprofessionalism. We don't want to be called that right?"

" I don't know Kiara. It just doesn't, feel right! She'd be here for four months!" Darshan said

" Don't think much Darsh, just leave it on me. Waise bhi I am gonna manage this project! You will not have to see her much. I promise. Just say yes.. Please!" I said to him holding his hand.

He nodded a yes." only because you are insisting!" he added and I hugged him.

"Thank you so much!" I chipped and we again headed back to the conference room. Darshan did not even look at Nikita once, during the meeting! And I made sure that he did not have to talk to her to keep his points!

The meeting got over by 8 in the evening and the clients left the office. I and Darshan were in Darshan's cabin. He was going through all the documents when I called Bhai and talked to him.

After talking to him, I looked at Darshan to tell him yet another shocking thing.

"Darsh.." I chipped slowly

"Hmmm?" he hummed engrossed in files.

"Darsh.. Nikita.. Nikita is Bhabhi's cousin!" I said only to receive shocked and confused expressions from him!!

Hello everyone!

How are you all? Well I know that I am not being able to write the way I used to do before! That's because I hadn't written anything in the past many months. After my 12th I've shifted to a new city. I took a lot of time to learn to manage my things on my own! I tried to get back to writing many time but it never could happen. I used to miss wattpad while sitting alone! I realised that how happy writing makes me! And sharing my work with you all, your lovely comments always encouraged me.
So now I am trying to get back. I am not promising to be regular because I know that I have broken that promise many times! But I will try my best to update regularly, for you all and for myself!
