I don't own Young Justice, and FYI, this is about two weeks after Chapter 12 of the SuperMartian story, and a year before Chapter 13. Just to clear that up.
She screamed and woke up, soaked in tears and sweat She frantically patted his side of the bed, wishing that she could feel him beneath the covers. Wishing that he would wake up and hold her, tell her it was just a dream. But he didn't. It wasn't a dream. He was never coming back.

After her doctor's appointment that morning, Artemis headed to the Watchtower. They were having a bridal shower for M'gann. It was a relatively small group, Artemis could easily list everyone who was coming on her fingers. Black Canary, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Rocket, Zatanna, Batgirl, Bumblebee, Wonder Girl, and herself.
They quickly decorated a spare room that Batman had allowed them to use for the party, and hid behind a few tables when they heard Connor's voice in the hall.
"Yeah, Artemis said they wanted you in here for some reason."
"Okay, I guess I'll go see what they need." There was the sound of a kiss, and Artemis guessed that they were saying good-bye for now. For a moment she was jealous, but that feeling left as soon as she pictured M'gann's face when she saw the surprise.
"Hello?" M'gann flicked on the lights and everyone jumped from their hiding places.
"Surprise!" They cried at once.
"What...What is this?" M'gann asked.
"It's your bridal shower!" Cassie cried ecstaticly.
"Oh my gosh, thank you all!" M'gann hugged Artemis, Cassie, and Zatanna at once.
For the next hour, the women talked and ate little snacks. Then each one gave M'gann a present.
Finally, Artemis couldn't hold it in anymore. She had to talk to M'gann.
Her friend was talking with Karen and Barbra, but Artemis tapped M'gann on the shoulder.
"Hey, could I talk to you? In private?" Artemis asked.
"Sure. Excuse me girls," she told Karen and Babs.
"Telepathically?" M'gann asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." Artemis said as they went to a corner.
"So, what's wrong?"
"Well, I have a secret."
"And that is?"
Artemis took a deep breath, "You see...."
Mwahahahahaha first chapter and its already a cliffhanger!! And on top of that it's freakingly short. Sorry. Well, I'll go work on chapter two now! Adios, minions!
