The Change of Fate (Zombie Apocalypse)

Chapter 1- The Plan

I didn't know what to do when Jennifer told us her plan I didn't know what to think either we leave or stay I knew I didn't want to leave my family behind but I have a new family know my friends.

Jennfer's plan was crazy. She said we can either stay and look for our families or leave to go find new place to be safe but I remember that I had my phone I called my Dad but no answer. I called my Mom and she finally answered. Her voice was weak on the other end though. Mom told me to be safe and to take care of Karely cause Dad got bitten and so did she and they decided to turn together. I put down the phone with my hands trembling with shock.

"Well what did Mom say!?" Karely asked nervously playing with her hair.

"T-T-They're dead" Great, my voice failed me.

Wow if you really want to silence a room up you should really say that out loud. It helps a lot.

After a long pause of silence Jennifer finally broke it. "Sarai where are your parents?"

Sarai sighed, "They're at Walmart. They left an hour ago before all of this happened."

Jennifer sighed. "It's too late for them now. I heard the change started in Walmart meaning with have very little time before they come all the way over here." How the heck does Jennifer know all of this?

Sarai stayed silence and next thing you know she was silently crying her eyes out. I hugged Sarai for comfort while soothing her with words. Jennifer didn't say anything about her parents but the way she was acting tells me that they were dead also. "Okay" She said. "We've got to get out of here"

"How?" Sarai and I said at the same time. We weren't armed at all. How the heck are we going to survive out there unarmed?

Jennifer lead us out to her kitchen where she opened one of the drawers revealing so many kitchen knives. "Dang, Jennifer why do you have so many knives?" I asked eyeing the sharp points at the end.

She shrugs. "Parents"

She pulled out at least 4 of them and handed each one of the to all of us. Great I feel like a murder planning to slaughter an innocent person. I especially felt nervous since I was afraid I might cut myself using this knife. Jennifer on the other hand didn't look scared handling a dang knife at all. Sarai didn't either. What? They use knives everyday or something? I also felt scared for Karely who was given a knife. She promised me she'll only use it for emergency but I don't really know.

Jennifer's P.O.V

I got it she said let's go to Overton Isabel looked at me like if I was going crazy.

"Are you crazy?" Isabel stated.

"No" I said back

"How are we going to get there?" Isabel asked nervously.

"Walking"

"I can't go walking I will die" Sarai mumbled.

"Me too Jennifer" Isabel chimed in.

"What else are we suppose to do?" I asked.

That is our only option to walk though. Only God knows that we might find other people like us that are alone out there. They need people like us to go and save them.

I bet you those people will do the same for us.

"Alright let's go to the store or something and get as much food, water, and weapons soon as possible" Isabel said.

Sarai nodded agreeing. "Yeah and look for survivors of course"

Everyone murmured agreement and next thing you knew we were all walking out quietly out of my house. I couldn't help looking back though. That's the last time I will ever see my home. I tried my best not to cry but failed miserably. This is it, I told myself. I'm actually going to do it. I'm actually leaving the town I grew up in.

Well actually first we're going to find supplies but still! We all walked in silence. Isabel actually seemed deep in thought right now so it was best not to bother her. Karely was eyeing everything around her as if something was going to pop out.

Later while we were all walking we ran into these two people we didn't see who they were stuck with walkers surrounding then everywhere. They needed help and asap. Feeling scared and nervous we somehow managed to kill the walkers off. I finally caught a glance on the people. They were dudes. Of course.

They seemed to be shocked like hell just arrived towards them. "Uhm, you two okay?" I asked nervously, my voice was failing me.

There was a dead silence in the air. Until Karely spoke up, "Maybe they're dead"

"Oh ha-ha please Karely" Isabel retorted. "Do they seem dead to you?"

"Actually" I said eyeing them. "They do kinda look dead.

"It's just the blood on them" Isabel pointed out.

That's when the one on the right opened his eyes. "Eren, we're not dead" He whispered.

"Of course you're not" Sarai replied.

The person on the left who seemed to be called Eren started talking quietly. "How the hec-"

"Uhm, you're welcome?" Isabel answered confused yet a little annoyed.

Eren opened his eyes and stared at us. "Are they angels?"

"Oh my god" I said face palming myself. We have a lot of explain here.
