I got a text on monday morning from my friend Levy around twenty minutes after I woke up.
'Lucy! Have you heard what Juvia has been spreading around?' I looked quizzically at the text and began to worry because of the events that took place over the weekend. Juvia and I haven't spoken since friday and I've dreaded what would take place today when I arrived at school.
'No, whats been going on??' I typed back. There was about five minutes that passed by until I heard my phone buzz again.
'She's been spreading lies about what happened at Gray's party! Saying you were trying to get him to come upstairs with you but he called you out and was disgusted. She's only jealous because Gray wanted to get with you and not her!' I placed my phone in my bookbag and left the house.
As I pulled into the car park of the school, I quickly got out of the car and made my way towards the building.
I walked in the big doors of FDA and kept my head down as I walked past all the people in the main lobby room. I felt the stares, snickers and whispers around me as I refused to lift my head and face my peers.
I made my way through the halls, knowing how to get to my class. I stepped into the classroom as the room fell silent. I looked up and was met with eyes staring at me, not a sign of attempting to be discrete about it.
"Hey Lucy, what.. or should I say who did you do this weekend?" Snickered one of the boys in the back of the class. I glared in his direction making a 'tsk' sound as most of the class laughed along at his stupid joke.
"Shut it, Sting, take your dumbass jokes somewhere else before you make me sick." I said with a look that could kill, he glared back, his friends joining into the staring. I walked to my seat and faced the front of the classroom, and as if on que, Mr. Guildarts walked in, requesting silence.
The class all sauntered to their seats and settled down as the lesson began.

After the bell rang signalling the end of the class period, I quickly arose from my seat and retreated from the room, quick to leave.
During the day, the stares and whispers never let up, but I eventually gave up with keeping my head down and just held my head high and acted like nothing was ever different.
As I arrived in the cafeteria, I retrieved a tray and got a few food items and placed them on my plate. I walked through the aisle of staring students and didn't pay much mind to it.
"Hey Luce!" I heard someone call to me from a little ways away.
Along with my head, a few others were curious enough to look in the direction of the voice. My eyes met with a pink haired boy grinning from ear to ear as he looked at me. He quickly walked over right in front of everyone and started up a conversation.
"What's up? I didn't hear from you over the weekend. I was kinda disappointed." Natsu said, smirking as a light blush dusted my face. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to a separate table where we sat and talked until lunch ended.
"Let's hang out tonight, okay?" I looked up as if pondering the idea then smiled and looked back at him.
"Sure!" I grinned at the thought of having a normal night instead of worrying about what other rumors would be spread around the school about me.
Who would have thought that someone I didn't know was watching Natsu and I's conversation the whole time in pure jealousy, thinking of every way possible to screw my life up even more than it already was.
And I thought my life was a living hell right now..
