10 years before Shadow....
"Spirit North! Dreamwatcher Winged Sparrow reporting!" A voice called to Spirit.
"About time, she said back. "What happened last night?" Spirit asked, fiddleling with a pen she had in her hand, wings fluttering.
"Spirit North, we... We found something you wouldn't believe existed."
Are you kidding me? I swear to Cirrus's Power, if another person is dreaming about fake legends and crabs, you will not report to me! Spirit thought."We found shadows."
Spirit dropped her pen.
"What?! Shadows in a dream? Never had this happened! Never had this happened....After the.. it better not have been that world!" Spirit said, alarmed. Shadows were terrifying nightmares that were especially harmful to people not fully human, or a hybrid, mutant, something of that sort. If it came from that world, then, then.....
"WELL SOMEONE GET MY DREAMCATCHER, OR CIRRUS SO HELP ME!" Spirit said. "I'm INVESTIGATING THIS!"
"Great, I'll get it." Winged Sparrow replied.

Spirit North woke up panting for air. what was that?! Am I still dreaming? What was that?
As much as she wanted to know, there were no record of a dream Like the one she just had. Spirit North knew that this would be a problem for her.Spirit heard the door open. She sees her daughter, Rayven walk in.
What's with all the terrifying thoughts, Ms. Spirit North? Are you not dreaming well?
Cirrus? What are you doing, if anyone finds out that you are talking to me everyone will freak!
Oh, I don't care if the freak or not. I'm not just a spirit you know.
What. The last comment from Cirrus did make any sense at all. What do you mean?
Suddenly Rayven screeched. She was gasping for air. Someone was choking her.
"You see, Spirit. I am real."
Behind, Rayven, a tall figure was standing behind her. I saw an outline of him choking on her. "Why are you doing this? Release her!" Spirit North says. The susposed Cirrus's eyes were glowing, glinting. Spirit North narrowed her eyes.
A few seconds later, he released Rayven from his grasp. She drops to her knees, breathing heavily, touching the base or her neck. "Rayven!" Spirit North runs to her."NOT SO FAST!" Cirrus yells. A hand whips out. Suddenly, Spirit North was trapped place. "Come any closer, and your daughter is dead."
He released Spirit North. His other hand went to Rayven's shoulder. She was trembling, Spirit North could see it in her face, as well as the eagle-like wings drooped. "Cirrus, what was the point in you coming here?"
"Well, if I told you, you would be spoiled before 14 years time."No. It couldn't be. Spirit North wouldn't accept it.
"It appears you know the truth."
I won't accept it, no I won't.
Then, her mind went dark.
