Valkion never expected anything good to happen to him.

So when he realizes one of his childhood friends (his only childhood friend) was The Beta Dreamwatcher herself, Valkion is quite shocked.

Now, he sees Cirrus in front of him, the man who inflicted harm to Rayven.

Valkion was furious.

Cirrus was a very tall man. He had large blue dragon wings that could easily intimate someone like Rayven. The most notable feature was his chilling red eyes that burned with hatred for Lilcia and the worlds it watches.

Obviously, not many people would challenge Cirrus because of his powers.

One that note, Valkion can either look stupid and dumb, or heroic and brave.

Valkion himself prefered stupid, because he just challenged Cirrus, one of the most powerful beings in Lilcia.

Well, the rest of the guards would call Valkion stupid, too.

"Well, Valkion, you are quite the brave one. But, also, stupid. What happened to you, Valkion? You suddenly seem so broken." Cirrus said, outstretching his wings. He also yawned, exposing sharp teeth.

"I'm not the only one who's broken, Cirrus. You yourself had some tough times as well. You don't need to block out your own emotions." Valkion snapped, unstrapping his sword and unfolding his own wings. "I don't need someone to tell me I'm out of my emotions!"

Valkion charged, leaping from the ground and spread his wings, and aimed for Cirrus's head. The sword went through, as Cirrus teleported away. "Your weak and foolish, Valkion. I wonder how Rayven is doing on her own?"

Suddenly, Cirrus wasn't a problem. Suddenly, Rayven and her survival was more important. Suddenly, Valkion's emotions got The best of him. Her name was going through his head. Rayven, Rayven, Rayven. Why now everything about Rayven?!

Valkion looked at the broken window, then at Cirrus, then the dreamcatcher around his own neck. Should he pursue Rayven? Fight Cirrus? Valkion couldn't decide. Suddenly, the answer was clear.

He needed to find The Beta Dreamwatcher.
