Rayven always felt uncomfortable in her mother's palace.

Everyone was very busy, and seemed very worried. As if a fragment of Lilcia was hidden and missing from her.

Rayven felt like some thing was wrong in the palace. No one said anything about what happens. No one seemed willing to say a word. Whenever she asked about Lilcia's past as a kingdom, everyone shudders in fear and whispers the word, "Shadow". Rayven was carefully watched by someone, and she doesn't know who they are.

So, Rayven used her time in the market place.

The dream world was indeed a strange place.
"Princess Rayven, Your mother requires your presence."
Rayven turned to find a guard from the palace she lived in. The guard bat-like wings and two fangs that were in devolopment were present. She was not sure if she had seen this guard in perticular, but Rayven wasn't concerned.
"I'm not a princess. I'm no one." Rayven said quietly.
"Rayven, you live in a palace. You were presented to Lilcia's people when you turned one. Obviously, you are." The guard said, concerned.
"Don't use that title for me! My mother doesn't even act like a queen anymore."
"Let's just get to the palace."

Along the way, Rayven started to notice the traits of the guard. He was young, maybe just two years older than Rayven herself. Very nervous around the palace, and full of mystery.

Maybe he could tell Rayven what happened to the Deamworld.

Before Rayven could ask anything, they turned and Rayven was suddenly in the throne room.

Rayven always felt an overwhelming presence in this room, not because of the way was designed, but if someone was watching her, ready to capture her at first glance. Rayven always kept her head down in this room and avoided eye contact, even with her mother.

Spirit North seemed like a busy person, and always seemed she never had time for Rayven. But to call her now... was very suspicious.

"Welcome back, Rayven. I know it seems like you don't hear from me much, but today... I cannot explain. Oh, Valkion, your dismissed."

Rayven turned to the guard who had escorted her to the throne room. They name reminded her of someone, but she couldn't remember.

"Oh, can we hurry up, Miss. Spirit? I would love to see Rayven again." A brisk voice called out.
Spirit North's face was full of anxiety, pressure, and pain.

"I'm sorry Rayven. So, so, sorry."

Suddenly, the room darkened. Someone was standing in front of Rayven.

"Rayven! Run! Now!" Valkion's voice rang through the air. she looked to the nearest window, shot a plasma blast out of a glyph that appeared at her hand, and jumped out of the window. Rayven unfolded her eagle-like wings, and flew out towards a barren cloud sitting on the edge of the market place.

Valkion looked at the shadowy person hidden by the darkness. "I know your there! Show yourself, coward!" He yelled.

"Very well then, Valkion."

The shadows disappeared, and a tall man stood.

Cirrus.
