Chapter 2. Hallucinating

"Luke?" I heard a familliar voice say

I looked up and saw Jai standing there. "What happened?" He said kneeling down besides me. I shook my head i didn't want to explain the whole thing now. "You can tell me later if you want to" he said and i nodded sitting up. "But..what are you doing out here it's 4 pm " he asked me. "I couldn't sleep so i went to have a walk..by myself" i said. "Oh Luke" he said and hugged me. He didn't know what was going on these last couple of days and i'm glad he doesn't. "Come on we're going home" he said and i stood up. He wipped my tears away with the long sleeves of his hoodie. "Thanks" i said queitly and feeling slightly embarrassed. I'm just not used to that he has to comfort me but it's always me comforting him in bad times. It was a very weird feeling. "Of course" he said and gave me a smile. I couldn't really smile back so i avoid making eye contact with him. We walked home in silence untill he spoke up again. "You wanna tell me now what happened?" He asked me. I didn't want him to know that i was hallucinating and that i couldn't sleep, he will only worry more. "..no not now" i said and he nodded in understanding.

We got home and i sat down on the couch staring into nothing. "Luke?" I heard Jai say and looked behind me. "You not gonna sleep?" He asked me confused. I shook my head "no i can't get to sleep" i said and he nodded. "Wait here!" He said and ran upstairs.

2 minutes later he came back with his hands and arms full with blankets and pillows. "Oh my god" i said chuckling. "Movie night!" He said excited and jumped on the couch with the blankets and pillows. I jumped on him and we laughed. "Now get off me with yo fat ass!" He said joking and i got off. "Let me get changed real quick, you pick out a movie okay?" I said and he nodded. I ran upstairs and got changed into my pajamas. I then ran back down to see Jai flickering trough diffrent movies on Netflix. "Popcorn!?" I asked and he nodded. "Alright" i said and went into the kitchen. I putted the bag in the microwave and waited 4 minutes. I grabbed the bag but didn't notice it was hot "fuck fuck!" I sweared in myself and trew the bag on the counter. I ran to the sink to calm it down with cold water but hot water was coming from it and it hurted more. "FUCK!" I yelled in myself and pulled my hand back. Jai came trough the door.

"What's wrong?" He asked and came closer.

"I burned my hand really bad, like twice" i said and he stood in front of me.

"Holy shit!" He said looking at my hand, he then touched it which was more painfull.

"It hurts Jai!" I yelled and took his hands of.

"That's what she said" he said making a dumb joke again and smirked.

"For real?" I asked him. he shrugged it off. "Sorry" he said giggling and grabbed the aid kit from the cupboard.

He started wrapping a bandage around it so it would hurt less when i touched things. "Ouch" i said as he wrapped the last piece and pulling it thight.

"Want me to kiss it too?" He asked making a joke again sarcastically.

"Yes please" i said going in with the joke and helding out my hand.

He placed a kiss on the bandage. "Ew!" I said and we laughed. "Thanks Jai" i said and we took the popcorn inside the livingroom. "No problem" he said and we layed down on the couch. I placed my right hand (which was the one i burnt) on my pillow and got more comfortable. "What movie did you pick?" I asked and looked at him. "A horror one" he said smiling at the screen. "But you're sensitive for horror movies" i said. "But i can try now i'm older" he said trying to be wise. "Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded surely. "Alright then" i said and he pressed play.

The movie ended and i yawned turning my attention to Jai who was now rolled up in a ball sitting on the couch keeping his eyes locked on the tv. "Not scary?" I asked smirking and he shook his head fast. "Good" i said and got up, i knew he thought it was a little scary but he needed to confess it himself. "W-where you going?!" He asked quickly. "Gonna take a piss, why?" I asked and he tried to act cool which he failed in. "Oh n-nothing just wondering" he said and played with his fingers. "Oki" i said and left the room going to the toilet.

I got back and saw that he was still in the same position. "You good there?" I asked and i saw him snap his head towards me. "Uuh i-..yeah" he said rushing trough words. "Another movie?" I said sitting down next to him again. "No! Ahum i mean no do a comedy one, those horror movies are lame..mann" he said and looked at his feet, i knew he was hiding his blushing face. "You think it's scary right?" I said and he looked away. "Don't be embarrased it's okay" i said and he looked at me like a lost puppy. "Yes..it was scary" he said queitly and played with his fingers, his hands were shaking and so was he now i notice. I grabbed his hand holding it still. "You okay?" I asked, he turned fully silent. "Jai?" I asked again but he didn't answer. I pulled him in for a hug and he broke down in one piece. "It's fine Jai" i said but he stayed queite. He didn't knew what to say and was embarrased. "..I'm weak" he said and saw that he was crying. "What! Oh hell no, you're a savior" i said wipping his tears away with my thumb. "What do you mean by that?" He asked me. "That you always make people happy in very bad time, that you light up their day and that you show them comfort" i said. This was actually true, he always did it. If he smiled everyone in the room would smile, especially me. "Tnx" he said curling up in a ball. "No problem" i said and layed down. He grabbed a blanket and pillow and layed down on the other couch. Once again he was extremely silent. I saw him turn his back to me and pulled his blanket up. "Why are you so silent?" I asked queitly. "...i can't really say that" he said. "Can't say what?.."
