Sure You Can

"Are you taking poor Michelle somewhere you shouldn't?" May asked Tony.

"We need to save Peter," I replied.

"Save him- from what?" she asked worriedly.

"I'll explain when I get back," I replied before we hurriedly walked out the door.

-

At the Avengers Facility

"I hope you're up for this," Tony said as we walked through the doors.

"I'm confused," I replied.

"Take a good look at this then," he suggested before motioning to a closed vault of sorts and pushing a button to open it.

"Say hello to Spider-Girl,"

A black and white suit similar to Peter's was hung in the vault. It seemed to be made from thin metal plates around the outside and had a half mask.

"No, I can't wear that," I insisted.

"Sure you can. I made it in case you ever needed it, and you do. Put it on,"

A few moments later I had a surprisingly comfortable suit on.

"Just tap the side to take off the mask," he said as his suit seemed to form around him as mine did.

I tapped the side of my head and the mask disappeared, I tapped it again and it returned.

"Let's go,"

-

Tony started flying in the direction of an extremely large garage.

I assumed that I would have trouble catching up but my suit seemed to increase my speed. I rolled my eyes, Peter was right, he does overdo things.

But he stopped.

As soon as I caught up and removed my mask I saw a group of heroes standing in a line.

Thor, Black Widow,  Captain America, War Machine, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, The Wasp, a few other people... and a raccoon... who I didn't recognize.

Tony didn't really seem happy to see Captain America... I heard their history is a bit messy.

Nonetheless, he greeted him and the familiar heroes the same.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm so confused right now," Ant-Man (I believe his name is Scott) said to Tony awkwardly as he scanned everyone.

"At first I was pissed at you, but apparently you left to get someone," Captain America told Tony.

"She's the kid's girlfriend, and she's just as prepared as the next guy," he replied.

"Well, this group seems quite pathetic if I'm being completely honest," Wasp sighed.

"We may be few, but our power will be many if we see who's left in Wakanda," Thor encouraged.

"Okay, are we just going to ignore the fact that most of us don't know anyone here?" Black Widow rolled her eyes.

"That rabbit there calls himself Rocket," Thor introduced the raccoon.

"Okay, but what even is a rabbit? Sounds like something that isn't me. There isn't anyone like me except for me," Rocket sneered.

"Anyway..." Thor sighed.

Everyone eventually introduced themselves.

"So let me get this straight... you can fly whenever you want?" Rocket asked Captain Marvel.

"Yeah,"

"She already specified that," Shuri sneered.

"Just making-"

Sparks started coming out of thin air and most people jumped back.

"Oh god, I finally found you, do you have any idea how many places I had to go?"

"Ah wizard number two, Wong is it?" Tony greeted.

-

We all crammed into a spacecraft of some sort before taking off faster than an average ship. Eventually flying over Africa.

The ship flew through an invisible force field of some type.

We landed and most of us waited while Thor, Steve, Shuri, and Okoye left to retrieve what was left of the army.

"I'm just going to say it, this is freaking weird," I breathed as I removed my mask again.

"You'll get used to it. It'll grow on you as it did most of us," Natasha replied.

"It gets disgustingly worse," Nebula scowled.

We sat in silence for a moment before I let out a sigh.

"Can we really do this? Bringing someone back from the dead is practically impossible, let alone roughly twenty,"

"We have all lost many things and people, I'm sure our faith in them will increase our strength," Natasha replied.

Shuri was the first to come back to the craft.

"Let's go."
