You and I part 7

• Justin's POV •

After eating dinner, I dialed Selena's number again but her phone was still turned off.

Now I really thought her battery died.

I called Chris to come over and do something. Minutes later, he was knocking on the door.

We started playing videogames.

"So any news from your girl?" He asked while we were playing.

"Hey that's not a fair game. Making me talk about Selena, so I get distracted and loose..." I laughed and his laugh followed mine.

"Nah I'm serious man." He threw the remote away and looked at me.

"Come on dude. I was winning." I complained like a little kid.

"Don't try to avoid the conversation. Have you talked to her?" He asked and I just put my gaze away from him.

"No, not really. Her phone battery probably died." I responded with a not-so-certain look.

"Yeah you're probably right. You really love her, don't you?" He said and I laughed ironicly.

"You're kidding, right?" I said. "Why would you even ask that? You know I do." I added.

He just smiled.

"Yeah maybe you love her too much actually." He laughed. "I remember that 20 minute speech you did on her birthday." He laughed even harder.

"Heyy! That was supposed to be romantic, but what would you know about romance..." I said annoyed.

"You're the love of my life and I will love you forever." He repeated the last sentence of the speech, trying to mock me.

I took a pillow and threw it on his face.

"Ouch." He said laughing.

I automatically started to laugh because of that situation. I must have sounded really pathetic during that speech.

"It wasn't that bad though, was it?" I asked hoping I'd get a good answer.

"Dude, you made her cry." He kind of yelled.

"Who made who cry?" My grandma walked in the room in the worst moment.

"Grandma, it's not what you think." I said smiling. "I made her cry because I was being romantic." I said and then I looked at Chris. "Something Chris will never be..." I laughed after I said that.

"He will when he finds the right girl." She said. "I will leave you boys alone now. Just wanted to know if you needed anything." She added.

"Nah we're okay." I replied.

"Alright then. Good night." She said before she left.

"Let's play. I din't invite you here to chit-chat about my love life." I said as I pressed 'play' and we started playing the game.

The next morning, as soon as I woke up, I checked my phone hoping there would be something from Selena; a call, a message, anything!

But still nothing.

I got up and started packing.

After a little while, I walked out of my room with my luggage on my hands.

"Justin I thought you were leaving tomorrow morning." My grandpa said.

"Yeah but I got something important to do and it can't wait until tomorrow." I answered.
