When I thought I was going to get pummeled to the ground, an instinct came over me, and I punched and slapped, pushed, and scratched, before they did. After that, I carried Jade to one of the only people that could help, and the person I could vent to…. The nurse. I ran down four sets of stairs, with Jade on my back, bleeding, all the way to the nurse. Once I got there, she didn’t have any ’patients’ so I explained everything. Jade wasn’t heavily bleeding, so the nurse told me I could plop her down on the ’sick bed.’
I was still tense, and I began venting --about my sudden instinct to punch Scarlet, and to fight before I got pummeled. She called all the teachers in the school, and the principal, to explain what I had tremendously did, so they wouldn’t believe any of Scarlet’s lies. The nurse explained quite proudly…
Jade awoke after about, ten minutes of getting plopped down. She asked what the hell happened, and I explained and vented to her. “Oh my Jegus! I never knew you had it in you Raven! Thank you for protecting me…” Oh dear gog… Jade’s soft face was bruised, and so was her shin, and her arms… Fuck.
My thoughts got interrupted my the nurse. “Raven, the principal wants to see you and Jade in about two minutes…” Fuck? “O-Okay…”
