Janelle's Point Of View
"You can run but you can't hide! I'll be back, I'm going to come back for you!"
These words will forever be haunting my mind. I am Janelle and I am sixteen this year. I, am an orphan. My mother passed away when I was 12 and ever since then, my father became an alcoholic as well as an abuser. Those words, were the last words he said to me, the words said before he was dragged away from me by the police when I was 14. Since that day, I have been stuck in a pathetic orphanage in London, with horrible caretakers. I have been alone, I am alone and I always will be alone.
Lucas's Point Of View
Walking down the hallways of my house, I look at all the awards and certificates that have been put up. Ashley, Blake, Ashley, Blake, it's all lined with my older siblings names, no Lucas at all. I never seem to be as good as them, no, I never can be as good as them. Looking at the photos put up, I can see how different I am, in terms of personality as well as looks. How can one have such a big family, but yet feel so different from them and feel alone? Maybe I've just always been alone and maybe I always will be.
