Woosung's POV
I was sitting on a floor in my room looking through a window, moonlight illumining my face. I was depressed, sad, I felt like something is going to come to an end like I'm going to lose a part of me. I was deep in my thoughts when my phone suddenly rang. I took my phone and looked, it was a message from (Y/n).
(Nickname) : Meet me at the park in 15 minutes.
I stood up and quickly found something to wear, put on my shoes and I left my house. It was warm outside even if it's night, the warm breeze brushing through my hair. It wasn't a long walk since the park is near my house.
When I arrived I saw (Y/n) looking at the sky while sitting on a bench.
"Supp"- I tried to sound cool to hide my feelings.
"Oh hi there!"- She looked at me as I sat down beside her. She hugged me tightly while smiling brightly.
"What happened? Why all of a sudden?"- I asked her as we were letting go of each other.
"Well you see, I feel like we should be together for tonight, I hope that you can stay here for the whole night. You know, to be beside each other and wait for the sunrise."- she said kinda shyly while looking at the floor.
I chuckled - "Sure"- she smiled again. That smile can literally melt my heart.
Rest of the night went pretty fast. We were playing around, running, catching each other, laughing, screaming...It was an amazing feeling, we had fun like it was our last time.
It's about 5 am and we are cuddling on the bench. Her head was laying on my chest and I was ruffling her hair. I kept her warm in my arms. We were looking far away on some hill. It was dark, but lights from that hill and houses in the distance looked like fireflies.
"You are little firefly in my life you know"
"Ah so cheesy!"-She hit my chest and we both chuckeled.-"You remember how my dad is a bad person...How he left me all alone, how he would do anything just to get rid of me?"- I was confused because she brought it all of a sudden.
"Yes, I remember. Why?"
"Nothing. Just wanted to ask."- That feeling of sadness started to appear again, I felt my eyes get watery.
"Is everything okay?"- I looked at her but she just looked away.
"Sammy. Can you sing for me? My favorite song, sing like it's your last time singing."-She sat up and smiled widely.
"Uh, I think I can. Sure."- I smiled back and started singing.
Full of despair inside a darkness
Self-conscious and scared, held prisoner of war
Running out of air, buried in a sadness
Want a way out of this paralyzing world
And the sound of the cries when a family's loved one dies
It echoes through a vacant room where a young soul still resides
(Y/n) joined me, we were singing our hearts out, her voice was cracking, she was crying but managed to sing still. My heart cracked looking at her like that, not knowing what to do.
When the night is cold and you feel like no-one knows
what it's like to be the only one buried in this hole
You can make it to the sunrise
Ooh
You can make it to the sunrise
Ooh
It was 6 am, the sun was rising, the sky was lighter, painted in warm colors. (Y/n) and me standing there, faces red with puffy eyes. A car parked in front of a park, and one man and woman approaching us.
"(Y/n) it's time to go now."-She was holding my hand tightly. We were looking at them, I was totally confused.
"Okay... Sammy, you are an amazing person, I'll always remember you and this night, we made it to the sunrise Sammy, thank you for everything you've ever done for me. And always remember that I love you. I'm so sorry."- With that, she let go of my hand and walked with them to the car. I quickly run in front of them.
"Who are you?! Where is she going?! I won't let her go away!"-I screamed angrily, tears forming in my eyes. (Y/n) was crying too.
"I'm sorry mister, she is going with us, she is ours now."- I was dumbfounded. My heart dropped, tears streaming down my face.
"C-Can she stay just a little bit longer?"- I begged.
"No, sorry."- They went back to the car with her and left. My knees felt weak. I fell down and started crying so hard. I didn't know what to do. I was broken, something died in me that morning. They took her away at 6 am, at that beautiful sunrise.
Our last night - Sunrise.
