I was working as a musician at some "fancy" restaurant. They had a little stage made for musicians to preform. Live music. It was really nice tho, you can sing any song that you want and people would probably like it.
It was night. I was done with singing a few songs so I took a small break. I sat down, drinking hot chocolate. Well now just chocolate because it cooled down as the time passed.
It was cold November, 10pm, busy streets of Seoul, people in here talking softly and quietly. I admired all that little things until someone interrupted my peace.
"Excuse me miss, you are singer here, right?" - A guy, around my age, asked me.
"Yes I am. You have a request?" - I smiled shyly at him. He was really kind and pretty.
"Actually yes. Would you like to sing 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz?"
"I'm down" - I chuckled with him. I went on the stage, but the guy was following me from behind. I looked at him a little confused.
"I'll take the piano for now and you can sing the part of a girl, and I will obviously be the boy duhh" - I laughed at him and accepted his offer.
His fingers were touching every tile so carefully and softly while I admired his smiling face. I could see that he's passionate about music and that he's not just a random guy from this restaurant.
And after we sang our hearts out, and he stopped playing the piano, after we looked at each other affectionately both of us knew that this is not the last time we'll see each other. And oh boy, did we know that this song is going to become a reality for us.
