Y/n was living in the middle of a forest in her tree house. Her porch was full of flowers and in the corner stood a telescope.
Her house was filled with astrology books, books about planets, the universe, the higher beings, spirits, spells and herbs. Around the shelves you could find all sorts of crystals and the main thing in the kitchen were dried herbs.
Yes, Y/n was, let's call it, a witch. But unlike witches in cartoons with ugly faces and hairy mole on their big noses, she was a good witch that was willing to help anyone who asked for help. She was smart, beautiful and gentle.
Birds were often singing on her roof and other animals weren't afraid passing by nor would they attack her.
"I really need to move this telescope. There's no point for it to be here, I can only look at branches..."-she said quietly to herself while wiping it from the leaves and dust that piled up on it due to her not using it for a long time.
From a corner of her eye she saw a tiny silhouette running across her porch, or at least she thought she saw it. Thinking it was probably an animal passing by she didn't bother investigating further.
Looking up at the sky she could see dark clouds swerving towards her part of a forest.
Y/n loved smell of the rain so she went inside, got her umbrella and stepped back outside.
"You really need to find a place for this telescope I agree."-said a tiny, what looked like, human on a banister.
Y/n was surprised. She was looking at the finger-sized human sitting in front of her.
"Excuse me for scaring you my lady. I walked the whole forest looking for you. Being this tiny and walking is not cool! My name is Dojoon and I need your help."-he raised his hand in a small fist.
"Hi Dojoon I'm Y/n. How can I help you?"-The rain started falling, almost washing away little guy. Y/n quickly grabbed him and held in her palm. She picked up a daisy from one of her pots and handed it to him.
"Here, this shall work as an umbrella. So, Doojon, how can I help you? "
His tiny fingers, barely visible, held the flower strongly, even tho he was still sitting on her palm under her umbrella.
"A bad witch cursed me my lady. Look! She even gave me a tail!"-He stood up and bent forward pointing at his tail that was wiggling left and right. Y/n couldn't help herself but to cover her mouth with the other hand in which she held an umbrella.
"Don't laugh at me my lady! I was once a beautiful man, tall, funny and lovely. She cursed me to be like this because I accidentally broke her fence. I was clumsy, I tripped okay! Never did it on purpose. She said that only the true love can banish the spell and then she laughed afterwards because no one will love me this small with a tail!"-Dojoon was clearly frustrated, but the way he was swaying his arms while dramatically explaining was cute.
"I have to agree, girls love tall boys. You are such a cutie Dojoon. So you came here in hopes of me falling in love with you?"
"No. I actually came here to ask you if you have any spell that can break this one."
"I'm sorry Dojoon, but I can't banish an evil spell. I guess you'll have to find a love of your life to help you."
Dojoon's head hung low, sadness visible on his face. He slowely put down the flower, his eyes were full of tears, his chest raising up and down quickly while trying not to let any tears out.
"If you start crying I'm going to cry too little guy."-She patted his head and back gently with the pinky finger. -"Let's go inside, you can stay here. There must be a way. Some things must change. We will find a way out of this together."
Y/n was reading all of her spell books in hopes she could find something, but unfortunately she found nothing for now. Meanwhile, Dojoon was sitting in a small bed she made for him out of mittens, drinking a juice from a bottle cap.
"So, Y/n. Do you have someone that you love?"-Y/n quickly raised her head from a book looking at him.
"I have. But, I don't know his name. I just saw him passing here and there. But he looks so nice and lovely."
"Oh. Then you can't fall in love with me at all."-She giggled but he was serious.-"When I was normal I would always walk around the forest and I saw you a couple of times, that's why I knew who to ask for help afer my misery. Now that I'm stuck like this, I think I'll never be able to walk like before and not get stuck between fallen branches, grass and scary bugs."
"We will find a way. It's late, you should sleep. We can continue tomorrow. Would you like to hear a story about a princess who kissed a frog?
"And then he turned into a prince yeah yeah I know. But I'll gladly listen to you. You have a nice voice."
"Come lay on this big bed. I'll treat you like a big boy."-A smile spread across his face. Big bed, big blanket and a big pillow for a big boy.
Y/n was telling Dojoon a story so he could fall asleep easier while fondling his back, head and face with a pinky. Her words became quieter and quieter as Dojoon was becoming drowsier.
"My lady, will you kiss me for a good night like a princess?"
And she really did kiss the top of his head and his tiny face. Nothing happened. But at least he fell asleep with a smile on his face. She gave him a soft smile and left to her desk, reading books and trying to find out how to banish his spell. There, on a desk, she fell asleep.
The next day was pretty awesome, unlike the previous rainy day.
Y/n woke up, her forehead had a mark on it from sleeping on books, her back hurt so she stretched out her whole body. The following scene couldn't prepare her for anything. On a bed where Dojoon was sleeping, sat a man she fell in love with. He was weirdly looking at his hands, then raised his gaze towards her.
"H.. how did you get in here?"-Nervious face said it all.
"You carried me inside on your palm can't you remember?"
"You are Dojoon."-Her mind went blank for a second.-"You are the guy that I like. That's why the banishing spell worked! Dojoon you're finally normal! And you don't have that wigly tail at your back anymore."-Y/n jumped up and run into his hands for a big hug.
"So you like me too?"-said Dojoon while smirking a little.
Both fell in love with each other. Spending life together was the best choice they have ever made.
They were meant to be.
Oh and the bad witch that turned him into a finger-sized boy with a tail? She wasn't actually bad. She knew that Y/n and Dojoon fell in love on a first sight and doing this was one of the most effective ways of getting them together.
He would make her flower crowns, make her amazing food, make her happy, make her laugh, make her feeling like the most beautiful person she was.
And she would care for him and shower him with love and only the birds could be witnesses of their shared kisses.
Oh and telescope never found other place to be, it was already a perfect spot.
