Meeting Myles ✔️ [COMPLETED]

"Amina wake up if you wanna come wth me" I hear my mum shout from the other room and I groan hiding deeper under the covers

"Amina!" She repeats and I roll my eyes
"I'm up" I groan throwing my covers off me and instantly regretting it because of how cold it is

I quickly run to the bathroom and do my business before running back to my room to pick some clothes out

I grab a random pair of leggings and one of my many sweatshirts. I tie my hair up into a messy bun and grab my glasses. It's a no makeup and no hijab day cause other than going out to do my eyebrows I'm not going anywhere. I put on my superstars and grab my phone before running down the stairs to catch-up with my mum

As soon as I get into the car I connect my phone to it and play Zayn's 'Let Me' which is a banging tune by the way.

If you haven't realised already, a month has gone by so that can only mean one thing; Adeel's mehndi.

I get to see Halima after so long and more importantly Alyaan.

I get out of the car and go upstairs to my room to make sure my eyebrows are as I want them and to make sure that the eyebrow lady did them properly

Suddenly my phone starts ringing and the name 'M💗' illuminates the screen

Me and Myles have gotten really close but it feels as though I'm making friends with someone new. He doesn't remember much and even though that can be a good thing cause he can forget about the slap, I still want the old Myles back

"Hiiiii" I answer and he chuckles
"Yo yo yo what's going on?" He asks
"Just had my eyebrows done" I reply
"So I just wanted to formally invite you to a party which will be hosted by yours truly" he explains
"I'm not a party person" I reply, "You know that"
"It's not that kind of party, Jam will explain all" he says and hangs up

If he was trying to be mysterious he failed miserably, he just seemed more cute

I ring Jam and wait for him to pick up,
"Yo" he answers
"What's with Myles's party?" I ask
"It's like a redo of your prom because we think it might bring back memories" Jam explains

It's sad because we've all tried everything to bring him back but as I said before, it feels like we're starting on a blank slate

"So should I wear my prom outfit?" I ask
"Yeah and ask your friend to come too, the girl" he says and I laugh slightly
"Okay, when is it?" I ask
"Next Saturday" he replies
"That's fine, I'll see you later bye" I say and hang up

I text Atiyah telling her about the party

We're going to a party next Saturday - Me

It's for Myles to see if any memories come back cause it's like our prom redo - Me
Ooh sounds amazing! - Ati💅🏼

"Amina come here" my mum calls me and get off my chair and follow her voice to her room
"Yeah?" I ask lying down on her bed
"Auntie Sadaf lot are coming in a few hours so sort Halima's bed out" she explains and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion

"I thought they were staying in a hotel" I reply
"Why would they do that?" She asks handing me bedding and I sigh

I guess I'm living with Alyaan again and that didn't end well last time

Once I finish setting up Halima's 'bed' I saunter down the stairs feeling slightly carefree until my mum speaks up
"Amina, can you finish the lasagne I've made the Keema" my mum says from the garden as I walk into the kitchen

She literally leaves half her stuff, partly completed and calls me to finish then off all the time

I boil the pasta sheets and place a layer of them on two glass dishes. Then a spread of layer of keema mix and the white lasagna sauce. I repeat this until it's filled the dish and then I sprinkle cheese over it

I put the dishes into the oven and flop myself onto the sofa in the front room.

I switch the TV on and switch over to Netflix. As I'm contemplating on what to watch my dear mother walks in yet again

"Darling get changed before your dad gets home and auntie Sadaf lot get here" she says tiredly and I nod my head turning the TV off

"Wear Asian" she shouts behind me and my shoulders drop down

I hate asian

I take out a random grey pair of Asian clothes that have blue and orange details. I decide to go without makeup because it's half four and I really can't be arsed doing it. I wrap a blue hijab around my head to make the blue in the kameez pop and put my grey contacts in. I apply a small amount of Vaseline on my lips and slip on a pair of black loafers.

As I grab my phone the door knocks

Just in time

I tip toe down the stairs and see Halima stood next to Auntie Sadaf
"Halimaaaaaa" I squeal and run down the stairs and hug her
"Hiiiiii" she replies excitedly
I pull away and hug Auntie Sadaf before we all start making our way to the living room

"Have you already forgot about me?" I hear a voice from behind me
I hear him shut the door and I turn around  and my breath hitches

Damn.
