Titanic
Dinner was eventful as expected. Jack definitely made an impression, Margret told me of the help she supplied him with. If I didn't know he was in third class he could've fool me. He made a great speech about making each day count and it made me realize that I only have one life and I must do what I like and I want suits me. I could tell Rose's mother and fiancé didn't like Jack much at all, but the other people seemed to get on with him fine. My "fiancé" was seated next to me blabbing about how his grandpa struck oil in some okie town down south. I was relived when the gentlemen finally left until the women started talking about my wedding and Rose's as well you could tell she was uncomfortable with it too. I excused myself promptly around 10, I returned to my room to read for a while until I realized I had fallen asleep and I was two minutes late. My eyes widened as I got up and fixed my hair before rushing out the door to meet John on the deck. Oh I hope he doesn't think I stood him up.

When I finally got there I was breathing hard but I spotted John not far from me looking off into the distance. He looked very handsome dressed in some black slacks and a white button up shirt."I'm sorry I'm late I accidentally fell asleep." I said when my pulse finally went down. "You're not late at all Octoviana. I was just enjoying the view." I looked off into the distance as he was. It was beautiful, but the harsh winds were nipping at my skin making me shiver. "Come on let's get you inside wouldn't want your to freeze." Where are we going?" I asked wondering why he invited me here. "I want to show to something." He said leading me a way I've never came before."I've wanted to watch since the ship launched but I'd like to enjoy it with you." He spoke vaguely. "Wanted to watch what?" I asked cluelessly. He kept silent and continued leading me on. We walked below deck and I suddenly began to hear loud Irish music. I looked at him curiously with a grin. He was focused on the door. We walked in and the music got louder as we ventured further into the room. The people were having a grand old time. The most shocking thing however was Rose and Jack dancing like professionals to the music. I clapped as she stood on her tip toes to impress the men. "Wow this is like nothing I've ever seen before!" I exclaimed laughing as someone spilled their beer on Rose. "I know." I heard John state dreamily.

I looked at John to see him already looking back at me with an unreadable expression on his face. I felt myself leaning closer and I noticed he was too. I soon felt his lips on mine. They were soft and warm. I placed my arms around his neck as his wrapped around my waist. The kiss lasted just a few seconds till we pulled back. I smiled at him sinking into his embrace. I felt him lay his chin on top of my head. I opened my eyes to see Rose's Fiancé's right hand man. He wouldn't tell anyone would he? What is he doing down here? Rose's fiancé probably sent him here to spy on her. I let go of John in worry. What would happen if he told my father? "Is there something wrong darling?" He asked softly. "No I'm just little thirsty." "I'll be back" he stated before going retrieve a beer. He took a short swig of it before handing it to me. "I wrinkled my nose at it before looking at the drink and sniffing it. It smelled fowl and was a gross brown color. "Come on now taste it it's good." I rolled my eyes before drinking it. To be honest it was putrid but I was parched so I downed half the cup. I lowered it to see his amused and shocked stare. I giggled at his reaction. "What?" He shook his head wearing an amused smile.

Soon the night was growing old and we were growing tired so he escorted me back to my room. " I had a fantastic time tonight John thank you for showing me that." I grinned at his excited face. "I did too. I will see you tomorrow bright and early. He said before leaning down to capture my lips with his for a short chaste kiss. "Goodnight John." "Goodnight Octoviana." I watched as he walked down the corridor. This may have been the best night of my entire life.
