I woke up to my phone ringing. I answered it annoyed and without looking at the contacts name.
"What you want?" I said annoyed.
"Girl I know thats not how you answer your mother" My mom said.
"My bad ma" I said laughing. "I just woke up and you know I'm aggy when I first wake up" I said.
"Yeah I know, anyways why you dont call me nomore I always gotta call you" My mom said. It's true I never call.
"I'm sorry mom, I been busy at the salon and allat" I said. I got up and went downstairs with my phone to my ear.
"You aint that busy that you cant call ya mother" She said laughing.
We chatted for a few till I got another call from an unknown number.
"Hello?" I answered.
"It's August" He said. I was shocked he even called me.

August P.O.V
"It's August" I said. I decided to call her and asked her to go to breakfast. A nigga aint feel like cookin so I wanted Waffle House.
"August? I'm suprised you even called" She said. I still never even knew her name which was crazy.
"Dont be suprised because ima be callin ya often. But I never got ya name" I said.
"Oh It's Briana or Bri which ever one you perfer" She said.
"Aight well Bri, you hungry?" I asked.
"Actually I am, I was just in the kitchen looking for something. Where we going?" She asked.
"I wanted Waffle House" I said.
"Alright we could go there" She said.
We chatted a while and we decided to get dressed and meet each other there. This girl got me sprung. I never had this feeling with a girl, not even a hoe. I dont think I could ever change my ways and I really dont wanna hurt Dram cousin.

Briana P.O.V
I got to Waffle House and seen August sitting at a table by the window.
"Hey Ma" He said and got up and hugged me.
"Hey" I said.
"So this is a time to tell me all about ya" He said.
2 hours later ..
Dang August story had me in tears. I cant imagine what he went through. Not being able to finish school or having my brother killed. That was like his bestfriend I cant even imagine losing Deon which is my brother.
"Dont cry ma" August said.
"How can I not cry? Your story is so sad August, how do you handle this boy" I said wiping my tears.
"I just sing to help me stop thinking about it. I miss my brother but I know he up in heaven smiling down on me right now. One day I'll get big and you gon be right by my side cause you gon be my girl" He said honestly. It was true. I'm starting to feel August and we just met. We sat down for 2 hours straight and got to know each other. He knows things about me that Gabby doesnt know about. And I know things he never told anybody. I know we just met but damn this nigga is so fine.
