August P.O.V

I couldnt believe my ears. I wish she wouldve told me sooner because I wouldve been handled the shit.

"Bri why you aint tell me sooner!" I yelled.

"Calm down August damn. I didnt want you to have your mind on this. I want you to focus on music" She yelled back.

"I dont care if I had to unfocus from music. I'll do anything for you!" I said still yelling. She sighed and sat down.

"Look yall need to stop allat yelling shit. Just calm down alright" Deon said. I went outside for some air.

I just wish she couldve told me sooner. I love Bri to death. Since I was outside I went to go check the mailbox. Yeah we live together now in a 3 bedroom house. I looked through and came past one little note, it read ..

"I'm getting closer and closer babygirl, watch out" I read out loud. This nigga Chance crazy dawg. I walked back inside.

"You aight bro?" Deon asked me.

"Nah I'm not" I said annoyed. "He sent another one" I added.

"What it say this time" Bri said coming downstairs.

"Anyway Deon, we gotta protect her or keep her somewhere till this is over. If I lose her I dont know what I would do" I said honestly ignoring Bri. I saw her roll her eyes and go back upstairs.

"If we do that we cant send her to New York, he'll go there" Deon said.

"Maybe Cali?" I asked.

"Thats perfect, we got some family out there and Chance aint never meet them before" He said.

"Aigh well get in touch with them, let em know that Bri gon be staying with them for a while and that she'll go out there by tomorrow. We gotta get here out here fast" I said.

"Aight" He said called up his family.
